Got quite a lot of 'stuff' happening this Feb so I have decided not to book any more MS's as its just stressing me having to cancel them
OH has made a good start on bedroom but as he doesnt get home till late he hasnt been able to do any painting at night so we are still upside down. Bed has been postponed 'again' till Monday and I took a call last night to say my dryer is also coming on Monday so Mondays 2 MS have had to be cancelled. hey ho.:( but at least the washing will be easier.
I had my crown fitted today and it hurt:( £181.50!!!!! but ive claimed £81 back. I thought it was supposed to fit the tooth! I think ive got someone elses the dentist was nearly an hour shaving it down cos it was far too big and it was on off on off so my mouth is reall sore and i was feeling very sorry for myself so I came home, put the fire on and had 5 jaffa cakes:mad: so a rubbish dieting day too.
ive been very good these last 2 weeks, been to the gym or swimming most days and been really careful what I eat, no chocolate, all week and tadaaa my ski trousers are no longer popping :jso at least thats a plus.
Money wise, ive sold an game on Amazon and reactivated online banking for our main account as id lost the password. Ive sorted my Evans claim out and will post that off tomorrow.
Still to do this month,
sort out OH car insurance - had the quote just need to finalise it
chase up my free petrol vouchers from my car insurance renewall (Sept!)
finish the blummn bedroom! It will be lovely when its donebusy busy cgx

Thats great isn't it paying to feel pain.
Sounds you are being really productive with getting the bedroom finished. Its horrible living with the mess that a room decoration brings. We did the main bathroom before Xmas and it felt like chaos for weeks and weeks. OH was threatening to do out bathroom but thats gone quiet for a whole (car hunting has taken over). Mind you I still need to save and order the blinds for both rooms.
I don't blame you with the MS's I stopped in November and although I still check the sites regularly if they are in any way out of my way, difficult, tricky or boring I don't do them. This generally prevents me picking any!Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -
haha, they sound like my MS's! I must admit its been lovley not constatnly checking the sites and stressing when all the best ones have gone! but i will miss the money in March and can't afford to jack them in all together just yet:(
We have just finshed the painting and it does look nice but we have no power in the on suite!! So got to get a sparky in tomorrow to try and sort it.
Good news is bed is coming tomorrow :j and so is tumble dryer :j:j bad news is we are on a mattress on the landing tonight!
Enjoy London, look out for a 2 for 1 voucher booklet in the station or ~I think you can get them online through the BR site good for the boat trips etc.
Last night on my lumpy mattress and only 3 more sleeps till skiing

Wow it feels like you've been waiting forever for your new bed. How funny sleeping on the landing. Enjoy the new bed when it arrives.

Are you having a laugh!!!! OH still wants to go out and buy new luggage - we have cases - he wants ski bags ! Its only that we are both utterly exhausted from decorating thats kept him out of the shops lol - you want to try that next time your OH mentions new cars tee hee
I am so not organised its awful!! but I will get there - only working Tuesday this week so still time to catch up but as you said, decorate 1 room and the entire house is in chaos for weeks - and guess what - I dont know where our passports have been tidied away to!!!! They were under the bed but that is in pieces in the garage so they arent there any more

:rotfl:The goldfish thing made me laugh :oSorry I'm sure you're DS2 is very upset. How strange...is that what g'fish do. Poor other goldfish to have Eric on his tail :rotfl:no pun intended!
I'm sure the passports will surface before you go.
I like your style with OH. Mine really threw me this am when he decided not to boy the car he'd seen on Saturday. I thought maybe the DFW MSE ways have finally got through but no it was not about whether he needed a sports car but about whether it was the right one. So watch this space. I bet by the time you're back from skiing a new car is in the DFW household!!!
Hope the new bed and t/drier arrived OKWorking Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -
