Thank you very much for your enquiry at Consumer Credit Services Ltd.

After your conversation today with my colleague it is my pleasure to give you the further information you require.

CCS is a claims management company registered with and regulated by the Ministry of Justice (registration Number CRM20280).

Our registration enables us to help our customers claim back PPI.

In order to assess your claim we charge a fee of £199.99, but if none of your credit agreements or PPI’s result in a claim then we will refund the £199.99.

However with the mass mis-selling of financial products by the UK’s leading institutions it is more than likely that your PPI’s will be refunded.

You can get the PPI refunded yourself for the cost of a few stamps.

Claims firms are a rip off, they profit on your misfortune or lack of knowledge about the industry. Martin provided the guides on how to do it for everone long before these firms popped up!

I still remember the first news story on BBC about someone who had claimed back bank charges and now setup a website to help others.

I too got a phone call from these people. First thing i said was not interested in buying anything to which he said, 'Not trying to sell you anything, just saying about mis-sold payment protection policies'. So as i have an on going dispute with a high street bank i thought i would listen to this man whom went under name of Danny Viears from C.C.S. 15-16 Cowell street in Llanelli, Wales. Obviously he forgot about 'selling' me something when with in 5 minutes he asked for credit card details. Straight away i knew this was bit fishy so asked for something a bit more concrete to which he tried to explained that the details will be sent in the post after they had checked my criteria thru my credit card'. Looking on from here i got even more suspicious as all i wanted to do was see there full terms and conditions on which he gave me a web address c-c-s.co.uk ( 1st off all, NEVER GIVE YOUR BANK DETAILS to anyone over the phone or online!!! not even if it was the pope!). As i was now known as 'buddy" he seemed to know a lot about me i.e. full name and address and insisted i repeat to confirm on the phone. All i asked for was something in writing for me too read thru to which he replied, 'i can send u an email'. to which i replied, 'ok'. Then straight away before i could even give him a safe email address for me to use he huffed and tried to use the hard pitch tactics. He then was asking me what i wanted to know, avoiding sending me the email and referring to them being sent in the post after they checked THAT I WAS SAYING I AM WHOM I SAY I AM and needed my credit card bank details. All he seemed to be interested in was me giving him my bank details for £199 without sending me anything that i was requesting to ensure me they were legit. I almost fell for it but always read the small print 1st and never give any personal information whatsoever. this has scam written all over it

    Just stay away from them.

This list can tell you the right people to go to for advice - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2077631

Write of loan firms have left people in very sticky situtations, including visits from bailiffs and trashed credit files. No advice is better than bad advice, so just stay away from CCS.

hi guys , this is still ongoing i wouldnt recomend this company to anyone, im very tempted to get in my car a drive to there office.
i have just got off the phone to them after having a huge rant. basilcly the daft bint on the phone told me there was no managers or superviors in on a saterday and there customer serviecs department was closed.
i then asked to speak to the higest ranking person in the office and she told me that it was her but she couldnt do anything.
i get got frustrated and quized her on the point of the office being open if they cant deal with everything.
i decided to hang up before i completely lost my rag with them.
guess i will be trying again on tuesday.

Marcuszs, as with all the warning above. You must get away from CCS now, they are nothing more than a scam ploughing profit out of the good name of CCCS. CCCS is a debt charity, CCS is a DMP company.
