Hi Guys
Thanks for the good wishes.
I haven't been on for a few days. DH and I have seperated.:( In all honesty it is probably temporary - but still difficult with little dd's and extra working hours. I initiated the split as absolutely sick to the back teeth of being the only one with any drive - on lots of fronts not just finance. Looked at my life and thought - I can't go on like this. There has to be either major changes or a permanent separation. I know I sound awful but it wasn't an easy decision and I feel so guilty. But hopefully DD's have swallowed the story that we made up.
Back to finance. I have continued to do clicks, no competitions and I have received a few free samples through the post £20 courtesy of tcb has hit overdraft no 2.
I have negotiated house insurance and knocked just over £100 off. I haven't confirmed anything yet but the new quote is with More Than - so if anyone has had a bad experience then please speak up:T
I applied for an Amazon card a while ago and got £15 worth of Amazon points. I have now received Jamie Olivers Ministry of Food. Lovely for nothing.:j Lovely book and maybe it wil spark a little bit of creativity in the kitchen!
I have gorged myself silly and put 31bs on!

Sorry to hear that YM
Hope you're ok.
We used to have Home Ins with More Than - they were fine.
Take care xx0 -
Thanks M and H.
Got home last night to find older DD in floods of tears and very withdrawn. It appears she's been bullied.:(:( Apparantly this has been going on for a while but she has tried to deal with it herself, (bless). Okay so a double helping of guilt and bad mother points for me this week. I am just about to call the school, but it does explain why her school work has gone down hill recently. I spoke to one of her teachers before school and work yesterday regarding her work. Oh the joys!
Have done clicks and nothing more to report. Extra overtime for me this month again, although I really need to be at home. More guilt!
Sorry to be so doom and gloomy - I need to practise what I preach, pick myself up and dust myself down!!!
Hope you all have a good Friday x:beer:The past is over & done & cannot be changed. This is the only moment we can experience - Louise Hay"You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection."-- Buddha0 -
Don't beat yourself up too much about your dd. She has been able to talk to you and that's a lot more than some kids can do with their moms! Now you kno what the problem is you can start to deal with it. I know that is easier said than done and believe me I am my own worst critic - I am always convincing myself that my kids suffer cos I'm not there enough and work suffers cos I'm thinking of kids, but on my good days I know I'm doing my best - what else can we do!
I'm sorry to hear about your separation but you know where we are if you need a virtual shoulder to cry on...Proud to be dealing with my debts, light bulb moment: 2/1/2010, reviewed 7/1/20120 -

Gosh! (not the kind of word that i usually use but etiquette and all that).
I didn't save £100 on home insurance I saved £214.67:beer:
I have made an appointement with the Headmaster after work regarding bullying. Fingers crossed.:)The past is over & done & cannot be changed. Wow, that is an excellent saving. I moved to MoreThan in October, and because they were giving free contents insurance, I too saved a packet
Still waiting for my £80 quidco payment to come through from them though
