  • Thanks SBM.

Not a huge amount to report today as I haven't had been running around like a headless chicken trying to get stuff done. To be honest I haven't really acheived alot:eek: Raging toothache has found me in a rather techy mood.

I have just about managed to do clicks and enter 5 competitions.

Today I would've just liked to close the bedroom door and curl up in bed all day - nice to dream!:(

Hope you've all had a better day. Going for a coffee and a kit kat. x

Like the diary yummymummy.. will be subscribing and dropping in from time to time.

Haven't tried freebies or comps - are they really worth the effort? I assumed they wouldn't be? but then a £50 voucher seems to counter that!

Personally have ditched the chocolate but sitting here in kitchen with second large glass of wine.. am sure thats kind of similar!!

    Hi :hello:

NF - Clicks are hard work but eventually add up. Look up eagerlearners thread, which will give you loads of info. Topcashback is the best, (in my opinion), as there is no annual fee and no minimum amount to claim cash back.
Comps - "you've gotta be in it to win it"

Did clicks (I only do topcashback , quidco. I also do pigsback but their clicks seem not existant at the moment.

I've just checked a very rare Euro lottery ticket. No need to get excited I haven't won a bean !

I'm waiting for the local hall to call me back with a hire price for youngest DD's party..

I requested £2.83 from topcashback today.:T Mad I know but every little helps and this will come of OD2.

No freebies to be had at the moment :p

Desperately waiting for the end of the month to come so that I can change some of my figures!! :(

  • Hi Hypno

It's throbbing but not as bad as yesterday thanks. It's making me rather techy though.

I've got a meeting later, (well an apology apparently - but we'll see!!), regarding one of the legal bits and bobs. All I can say is God help him if he starts, he won't know what's hit him. See - told you I was techy! lol:rotfl::rotfl:

    Hope you're okay x

Also I have them coming out to quote for cavity & loft insulation. Can you use any company for this. The quotes will have to be pretty low for us to be able to afford this. Although I realise that this will save money in the long term. Has anyone got any experience of this ?

Hi Yummymommy, I finally made it over to your diary!

You seem very focused on the debt, so will get there. Sorry you've had to endure so much stress for the last few years, but glad that it went your way - that must be a huge relief.

Regarding the cavity wall and loft insulation, our council have been offering this free to every home over the last year or so. So, it might be worth giving yours a ring to see if they are offering the same service. It would save you £££'s.

For weight loss, I'm on https://www.nutracheck.co.uk It's the usual calorie counting, but is very good and you can do a free 5 days trial - so might be worth a look....

Keep going, you're doing great :)
  • Hi,
How are you doing? I'm so pleased that things are looking up now that the legal thing is sorted out.

Well done on your £50 win - loved that you bought wine and chocolate - exactly what I would have done! Just wondering - did you have to share it with your dd's? :rotfl:

  • Hi Guys,

hope you are all well and hugs for those that need them.

Well I have had a busy few days but I MUST make time to come on here to track my progress and have a friendly chat.

I am now trying to play catch up but at least I now know that my debt won't increase :T I pretty exhaused and now just have a few i's to dot and t's to cross.

Hi Macgirl thanks for the info and thanks for popping into my diary.

Hi C thank you too for your kind words x

£2.76 received in od 2 today. (Every little helps!).

I put a pound on last week but am hoping to loose tomorrow.

I have won another prize - an exercise bike. :T:T I haven't got it yet though so am not sure what type. I've also had a bonus which will be in my bank next week. Hopefully this is the start of something new as I haven't had this kind of luck and good fortune in years :j:j
From the freebies forum I order a free "Essentials" magazine along with some labels.

I succumbed to the Euro lottery but didn't win. Think how many people you could make happy with that kind of money!

I have also entered a few more competitions.

So my bonus, severe cut backs, lack of community charge and water rates this month should smash my od1 this month.:T
