Hi Cialilerin, Naefags and Elsie
I've only just popped in quickly to tell you my news. And it the best news I've had in a very long time:j:j
The meeting went really well. They have dropped their case. This means that my debt will NOT increase as I have won both of my splinter cases.
The nightmare of the last five or so years is over :T:T I woke up this morning and realised that I hadn't been dreaming and that it really is all over. The knot in my stomach that I've had for so long has disappeared. I have fought for so long and so hard that the exhaustion has now hit me!
Will be back tomorrow to report properly. Thank you for all your support guys it means so much :T:T:T

I am so glad that things went your way earlier in the week - now you can start looking forward and living without that cloud hanging over your head. I can't imagine what you must have been going through!
Good news too with E.on and the bonus etc - it is all coming together nicely. As for the rest of it, well, keep plodding away with freebies, clicks etc and you will soon notice the difference that they make.
When you are ready, read through the matched betting thread and see if that is for you - it is not for everyone, and must be taken very seriously if you have any sort of tendancy towards gambling or any other addictive personality, but if it is something you are "safe" doing, then it can bring in a nice extra amount of money.......it is on the gambling board - but read, read, read and then when you think you've got it, read again before making a start!

Hi Guys
This is the third time I've tried to post so I hope it works. This time I'm going to do it in a couple of posts in case it doesn't work again!
Cialiterin thanks for the info on the strikethough and your good wishes:beer: I,m with Planningahead with camping - not my kind of thing - you never know stanger things have happened and you might convert me!
Naefags and Raini thanks for you support and yes I did get a good nights sleep - albeit alcohol induced.
Hypno thanks for your support and kind words, (especially when you're going through such a traumatic time yourself). I will definately look into match betting when I get chance.
Elsie. I'm back in business for a coffee. :jThe past is over & done & cannot be changed. This is the only moment we can experience - Louise Hay"You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection."-- Buddha0 -
Okay that post worked:rotfl::rotfl: So for the next.
If I have learnt one thing over the last few years - it's to believe in yourself and your ability. This is really difficult in the depths of complete and utter despair. I'm lucky dd has been really supportive, (only the occassional blips!) and as dd's were really young when it all started I had no choice to get on with it. I had a david v goliath case 3 times. I have to say I was completely surprised and delighted about Wednesday, (which was the last real problem one), but it just goes to show what you can achieve. Non of this mess was my fault but I cannot allow myself to get bitter or twisted about it because it will only impacton me and my family. I also believe "what goes around comes around!" Anyway I'll get off my soap box now - it's just nice to put your frustrations into words sometimes !! Time to deal with the debt !!
Well the last few days have seen good and bad with the debt busting. Mostly good I have to say :T
On Friday my tooth cracked in half and crumbled ! Once emergency appointment and £85 later !!! My older DD then had a tooth fall out so another £1 to the tooth fairy. It's not just the money - I have to answer all the questions that they leave for the tooth fairy aswell:rotfl::rotfl: I'm sure they're pulling they're own teeth out to earn extra money :rotfl:
Anyway the good has been no more adding to my debt, worked overtime and am having an unexpected bonus this month. So hopefully I will be able to bash the overdraft in a big way:T
On Saturday morning, (during a rare lie in that DD's were allowing me to have!), the postman arrived with a recorded delivery letter. At first I went into panic - as over the last few years I have had lots of these, most of which bear bad new. Nooooo I had won a competition and received a £50 Tesco gift voucher. :T Now I normally shop at Mr A's but in this instance it was no hassle driving the extra few miles! I didn't keep hold of it long as i used it for the weekly shopping.
I do have a confession. I spent £5 of the voucher on a bottle of Asti Spumanti and a bit extra on rather a large slab of chocolate :T:T But still did the weekly shopping. So the food budget is looking great. (although I didn't have a dentist budget!!)
This bottle kept over two nights. I put an upside down teaspoon in the neck and it remained as fresh and bubbly for tonight. Unbelievable:T
I had some free soapnuts in the post but have yet to read the blurb. Still haven't had time to use the free yeast:o:o:o
Well I'm off to catch up now. xThe past is over & done & cannot be changed. This is the only moment we can experience - Louise Hay"You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection."-- Buddha0 -
