As long as it is in the fridge it will be ok, but why not make a curry or stew out of it and use the carcass to make a nice warming soup xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

You can reheat cooked meat once, as long as it's thoroughly reheated. You shouldn't really reheat it more than once, but I do with soup (i.e. make it, then allow it to cool / freeze and reheat when I want to eat it) as I figure that the thorough boiling it receives will kill most bugs. So far it seems to have been OK!Back after a very long break!0

You could also make a great chicken and ham pie, or maybe use some of the chicken in a layer in a terrine.0

I frequently leave Sunday Roast leftover meat in the fridge (covered) for most of the following week while it is being used up in either sandwiches or rissoles or just as something for the kids to 'pick at' when they get home from school. Never had any problems with it. In fact DS1 finished of last week's pork as part of his lunch on Saturday.0

I think the official answer is about 3 days in the fridge but we regularly have stuff for about a week with no problems so far.0

Or boil the carcass up with a few stock veggies (onion, carrot celery), strain and reduce the liquid to about a cup for chicken stock that will freeze and keep for months.0 -
Hi keza,
I generally keep cooked chicken in the fridge for a maximum of three days. Providing it was chilled quickly after freezing there shouldn't be a problem. This thread will let you know what other Old Stylers do:

This thread has lots of ideas for meals using leftover chicken:

I'll add your thread to the first link later to keep the replies together.
