I have done that same today but used chicken breasts and mushroom's. Would probably have been better if I had remembered to switch the sc on at the wall:mad:

I bunged a whole chicken in mine this morning, seasoned with salt, pepper, paprika and garlic.

I just did some chicken legs in their juices and used half to make a chicken/gammon/pesto pasta tonight, and will use the other half for stir fry tonight.
at the moment I've got stock simmering away to be taken out in the morning0 -
I did 2 things!
steak root veg and ale stew, with rump offc uts and veg, worcester sauce, tom paste, stock etc.
Then went for chicken pie filling a few hours later, yesterdays roast chicken, leftover home cooked ham, mushrooms, chicken stock from teh carcass and cream.
Do I get double points?:D:D
