Large spag bol in mine today, will then turn into chili for later in the week :-)

Couple of days ago made soup...left over gammon, carrots, onion, celery, chicken stock, lentils. It was delicious. Got this recipe from this Facebook group, it's well worth a look, have been amazed and some of the things that could be made in the slow cooker. https://www.facebook.com/groups/slowcookedwonders/

I went to get soup out of the freezer this afternoon and there was none. So went to Tesco for frozen veg and it's in the SC now with tomatoes; onions; leek; celery and an assortment of herbs and stock cubes with a few glugs of wine. I'll turn it on before going to bed.

    Hello,

Made steak pie filling in mine on hogmanay for new yrs day. I'm not normally a fan of steak pie but even I have to admit it was falling apart tender goodness. Thinking of what to try next, perhaps a chicken?

    Happy New year btw x
