  • In my brand new shiny slow cooker. Thanks to those who advised me on which replacement to get.

I am just finishing some soup for lunches, then it's going on again to do some chicken curry. :D

True LoLo but what price will it go up to with eight days before the sale closes?

Debating if I should do this in the slow cooker or fry and what can I do with it? What do you think? Any ideas anyone?

Bacon bits, chopped onion and sliced potato(the last item is some boiled potatoes from my meal yesterday...)

    Thanks Tilly,
I suppose I could consider an omlette? Now you have mentioned eggs...it's funny sometimes you really do need someone to suggest a meal idea.

I'll look Tortilla's up...I may be alone and have a limited budget but I still try to have a variety of foods...and keep an interest in cooking as I have always had.

  • Popperwell, you said earlier you had belly pork in your slow cooker.

I have some belly pork in the freezer and wondered what it would be like in the slow cooker as I usually do mine in the over, for about three hours because I like the fat to be crispy.

Can you let me know, how it turns out and how you did it please.
