Beef massaman curry tomorrow in the SC, with a sauce which has been in the cupboard for ages. Might put some potatoes in as well.
Just bought some oxtail from the supermarket on a whim, guess I can just braise it in the SC like I would any beef, in a rich gravy, then serve with mash & veg. Do I put it in whole?0 -

I'm using mine for the first time today. I've got a gammon joint and just put it in on it's own, and i'll give it to 5pm to see how it is. Hopefully it will work!!0

It will be delicious. Only problem is it gets so tender it falls apart at times. Not that it tastes any different. I find using an electric knife is easier on it.
