i am doing my own homemade chicken tikka masala, browned chicken off with tikka seasoning etc and then threw the rest of the ingredients in the slow cooker as we have oh friend round for dinner, il make seasoned rice in the microwave as im still trying not to use the oven and hob as much.Ds2 born 3/4/12 8lbs 8.5:j

I have a pork joint in mine, making bbq pork tender. Gonna have it with some of the freebie home fries, cheese coleslaw i bought yesterday and some sweetcorn, yum!
I have just googled a receipe for risotto, as i have discovered 2 half open boxes, that i have decided need using.

I did have a beef stew in mine yesterday, but when I got home 9 hours later, I realised I'd put it on high so it was completely ruined
. We had nothing else defrosted, so ended up going out for a thai meal instead!

OO ragz that sounds lovely, proper warming food!
Mine will be on overnight tonight with lambs liver, bacon, tinned tomatoes, onions and garlic in it. I`m making liver and bacon pate as all the ramekins are now empty and need filling up again.
In the morning it will be drained and blended with a pack of butter whilst its still warm and then spooned into the ramekins to freeze.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0
