OMG!!! the gammon joint is beautiful, next time if i buy a small one, i wont cook it for 6 hours, but maybe 5, as it was starting to break up, but i rescued it in time, also i wont put honey on while in the sc, as the gammon produces its own water, one more thing, drizzle the gammon with honey then pop in the oven for 30 mins, but depends on size, was planning to use this for lunches during the week, but im not really sure it was last that long as it is yummy and so moist inside mmmmmmmmmLose 28lb 3/28lb

Well its 4lb of onions and 4oz of butter.Peel and slice your onions, bung in slow cooker, slice your butter and place on top. Have mine on Auto but can put on low overnight if preferred. As I said its the first time I have tried it so will have to let you know later but yes it is supposed to freeze.
Only tried it at all because Rosspa had 4kg onions for 50p and bought 3 lots.Slimming World at target0 -
Followed all the instructions (settings etc.) to the letter. Ended up having the soup for lunch! It seems what I have is a cooker, not a slow cooker, as the slow cooker setting cooks things quickly
OK its not t he one I was thinking of. Hope you enjoyed your soup.Slimming World at target0 -
I cooked a 1.5kg gammon joint yesterday with half a pineapple (needed using up), it was lovely but would have been even better if I had gotten a smoked one instead like I meant to! Today we have leftovers with parsley sauce and tomorrow the last bits with a chicken breast (cheapo) and leeks for a pie. Instead of rubber chicken its rubber gammon.0

I have the Pate in MySC ready to go on over night. I can't wait to taste it thank you SunnyDay
All the talk of Gammon is making my mouth water I did not know you could get it for £4 I though i had to spend about £10 as that's what I have been seeing any ideas where a good cheaper place to go is. I don't really know a lot about buying meat.February GC £261.97/24 NSDS 10/12
