I made my first suet pastry pie in SC yesterday - meat and mushroom, was totally wonderful, although next time will cut the amount for pastry in half, was far, far to much. We had HM lentil soup first that was made in SC Wed with the pie afterwards, served as was, nothing needed to add to it like potatoes, extra veg. The one thing I found was my bowls are two big for my new SCs - I have two in one unit - so I just used to big breakfast bowls and popped one in each SC and just the right size for each of us, except so much pastry. I had used the amount specified in recipe as was not sure how much it would grow while cooking ( recipe from 200 slow cooker recipes)Need to get back to getting finances under control now kin kid at uni as savings are zilch

I am trying to cook Eggs en Concotte. Spinach, butter and garlic maybe a shred of roasted pepper from a jar.
Learn how to successfully boil eggs in my cooker.
My electric cooker looks broken. Will i be able to heat my Quiche (reduced Waitrose). Probably forced to replace aggh.
Previous item cooked, a tray of Plums to add to Rhubarb and something yoghurt that divine stuff that is 3% fat but is lovely and creamy like Total Yoghurt (no use fat free or low fat meaning tasteless).
I like threads like this. Easy to drive by, plonk post, drive out and then drive back in. Connections made to thread over time.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

Let us know how the eggs go, sounds lovely.
Reheating quiche should be fine I think if in warm cooker. Probably best to lift off the base with something trivet like?A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
