  • Since i last wrote on here, i have had a lot of help by a kind person on here and found a friends reunited profile for someone whos info matches what i know about my dad. Sadly he last logged on in 2008 :(
I am 99.9% sure it is him. Just seems its not meant to be :(

Does the friends reunited page give you further leads?
I don't use it myself but does it give you an email addy? probably not current but it could give clues, also has he updated a profile with recent jobs etc? If it says when he left school you could work out his year of birth (unless you know his dob?).
I have traced my birth mother knowing only her name and a three year birth range and am now thinking about finding my birth father at some point - no hurry lol!
If you have his dob you might be able find siblings, is this something you have tried?
  • He doesnt have friends or anything on it. It was quite basic but enough for me to believe that its him. well, im 99.9% sure.
I havent got a DOB but have a rough age.
Ive found out more info about cousins etc so im now going to look up addresses on the electoral role and post letters.
Good luck if you do go looking for your dad.

If you send a message to that person; then they get an email so it might be worth a shot.

Thanks Nickie, my BF's (birth father lol) surname is fairly rare as a name but is a common word, nothings ever easy!
Keep us updated, the more clues you find the more others might be able to suggest places to look from there on.
Hope you get somewhere with the cousins :)
