rach - hope the ankle is improving

All I want to do is curl up on the sofa and hide from the world  :o
It has improved loads thanks - tomorrow will be more of a challenge but all the things I've been doing must have been helping. It's still swollen and bruised but that's to be expected.

Hugs to you, you sound like you need them - you know where I am xx

Rach, out of curiosity, given the differences between Greenbee's and mine with the medics and the ankle, are you strapped or unstrapped? And if you're strapped, have they said when you should unstrap?

No strapping - I was rather surprised but I'm told the theory is now that the sooner you use it (the guy said to me that the treatment was to walk on it, but not to go charging around - moi??:A). He said elevate, ice every now and then but not for too long at a time, and make sure you move regularly. Plus flexing it gently etc.

I have to be up early tomorrow, want to set off in plenty of time so I can take my time getting to the station/work. I will take my stick too.

Still haven't ordered the craghoppers stuff, kept telling me my basket was empty - think it must time out v quickly...one more go now then reading and sleep for me.

toots - sorry about your internet probs, I was wondering if you were ok.

soappie I am here after having internet connection problems - I will do a round up of the stars before bed unless you are already doing it?
    toots xx

I was tucked away watching the TV and washing up in the adverts so I missed - sorry! I'll do a sweep in the morning, and when I get in from work. From your posts, it sounds like you'll be busy tomorrow but don't worry, I'll do the catching up for you..

Rach - interesting - your casualty nurse must have been on the same course as mine re the strapping! I remember that when I went to the Dr the day before I went to casualty to get it xrayed after 11 days of pain and trouble, the GP said it was a good idea to keep it strapped up. Totally negated the next day by the A&E nurse!

Just be careful on your way to work. Use that stick not only as support and sympathy to get a seat but as a weapon too! xx

Off to bed shortly. Sleep well people
