Morning All

Happy Birthday Kazwookie

DS got me up at 5.30 and I didn't go to bed until late (well late for me 11pm) so I feel shattered this morning plus DD got into bed with me in the middle of the night as she'd had a bad dream.

Staff meeting after work tonight so won't be in until later so not sure how much I'll mamage to get done tonight - the way I feel at the moment - not a lot!

Right I'm going to go and stick the WM on and see where I go from there.

Wednesday ~ Study and Bathroom/loo
Level Two
Declutter the desk and clean the keyboard etc.. icky germs.. and shake out those biscuit crumbs!
Level Three
have 15 minutes filing/organising spreadsheets/debtbusting!.. see if you can alter any of these payments to free up some cash!
Defluff behind the radiators.. and wipe the fronts so they look nice
Clean the downstairs curtain poles/tracks.. furniture polishis a foolproof way of making the curtains run smoothly again!




Extras ~ just 3 today as they are time consuming

1. Gather insurance documents/guarantees/important papers together in one accessible file(Work In Progress:p)

Thursday ~ Master Bedroom and Landing
Level Two
Declutter your make-up.. it breeds all manner of germs!! and bin any ancient smellies
Level Three
Find 5 items from each cupboard to be binned/charity shopped.. pairs of things can count as 2... holey socks, pants with no elastic etc..
Clean fronts and behinds of radiators!
Wipe tops of upstairs door frames




Extras

1. Mend 1 item you have been putting off for weeks!

Friday ~ Childrens/Spare rooms.. or any other room you have neglected
Level Two
Wash duvets/curtains etc if not been done for a while
Sort through a box of toys.. find 5 that are no longer required and rehome (sshhh, do this quietly!)
Photograph as much as possible to ebay on Sundays free listing day.. if you don't ebay BINBAG DANCE!
Level Three
Sort through ALL the childrens undies.. whose pants are dead? Whose vests are now crop tops?
Sort through all the games and make them nice and neat (or disappear)




Extras

1. Mend an item you have been putting off..
2. Wash a set of curtains and rehang.
3. Sort the shoes.. I always have dozens of outgrown pairs

Morning all!

The novelty of snow has worn off at Castle Lala! Someone knocked on the door last night to see if it was DH's car that was sitting in the middle of the road! Blooming thing had slipped all the way down our steep drive - unbelievabley there was no damage done except it was blocking off our little cul-de-sac!:eek: DH was out for ages shovelling the driveway afterwards and put bricks under the wheels!

Flywise, HHI must be done at some point today and love the task of chucking 5 items from each cupboard! Vacuumed upstairs yesterday so I'm slightly ahead :j

Thursday ~ Master Bedroom and Landing
Level One
Declutter the floor.. and vacuum it!
Strip the bedding, wash and replace!
Level Two
Vacuum the dust mites off the mattress and turn it if you can!
Declutter your make-up.. it breeds all manner of germs!! and bin any ancient smellies
Organise the towels and spare bedding.. fling what needs to be flung!
Level Three

Morning all,

I ordered my desperately needed box files so I can organise my paperwork properly once and for all! Went through a cashback site, ordered the 5 I needed and saved another 20% and then found a code for free delivery...works out much cheaper than I was expecting :money:

I sorted out my new ISA and bank account, sent off papers for my life insurance and some other bits and bobs which Ive been meaning to do since before xmas :eek: but they are posted now. I have a few more things still to sort out but Im taking them to work with me every day and doing what I can each day in my break.....I'll get there eventually! :rotfl:

I put away some laundry last night and put another wash on, so Im going to empty the washing machine again then refill it.

Ive got a boiler inspection tonight, and thankfully the house is reasonably presentable.

So I best get on and finish straightening up before I go to work.

Morning all,

I haven't caught up with the whole thread so i hope all is well.

I hope the people who had falls yesterday aren't too sore today.

It looks like Ds1 is off but Ds2 is in, i'll have to wake him soon and get ready.

I don't think i crossed one thing off my list yesterday but we did have lots of fun in the snow instead. hopefully i'll get a bit more done today.

I need to find my list.

Tuesday ~ Kitchen, Utility and Dining Area


Extras

1. Sharpen knives
2. Order and organise the spices and sauces.
3. Sort the plastic boxes/tupperware
4. Medical box - restock and inventory. I'm sure a lot of us will have run out of the vitals the last few months!

Wednesday ~ Study and Bathroom/loo

Polish mirrors and taps and pictures and shower screens etc
