Can I ask a few questions please?
Basically I used to do flylady myself, and was pretty good at it! Now however my son who is 8 months has started screaming if I so much as walk towards the door of the room I'm in. So I have to end up taking him around the house with me... downstairs is ok as he has his highchair in the kitchen... but I can't really go upstaires as he has nothing to do / sit in etc and now he's crawling gets into EVERYTHING etc etc
ANyways so flylady has taken a bit of a backseat to trying to do anythng i can around Jakob...
I want to do flylady again and saw this thread and it looks good because it has the different levels, so i could just do level 1?
But.... 1. is there different threads for every week?
      2. what are the stars?
      3. should i wait till the new week starts to join in properly?

      Thanks :D xx

Excellent list today, have taken off the extras as the linen cupboard stuff will take me hours! OH did his socks and binned a load of clothes last week when he tidied his own wardrobe and Chest of Drawers  will have a go at mine as best I can but no idea what's worth keeping at the moment until I know what size I'll be once huge baby comes out (this baby weighs 4 stone, honest, none of that weight gain is me!)

Quick question - does everyone wash their bedding and turn their mattress every week? I only ever used to do my bedding once a month, if that! (I must be a grotty cow lol) I thought mattresses were a twice yearly job!

Have you read the intro on the front page of the thread?
Yes you can just do level 1, or 1&2 etc, or bits of each! The new thread starts every week on a Sunday evening ready for Monday. Stars are for very industrious Flyladies who want recognition for completing all levels so we can show off lol - I like the stars! But don't worry about them for now, just do what you can and feel free to join in now xx

    • my bedlinen is between once a week and once a fortnight...in summer it is weather dependant - no tumble drier here!

Turning mattresses - once every 4-6 weeks is what the shop recomended for us!

Ok so I've caught up and completed the first two days of this week so it's bathroom and master bedroom to catch up on today. Also have one load of Ironing to do tonight, organise another cupboard/draw and excercise today for min 30 mins too.

Have a good day all and thank you so much for this great thread! x x x

I do my bedding weekly or fortnightly depending on whether it needs it... although if I'm travelling it may be less frequent. As for turning the mattress, I bought a new one last year and it came with detailed instructions - turn weekly for the first month to let it settle and stop it getting lumpy, then turn monthly - sometimes side to side, sometimes end to end (and you have to remember which way you turned it last!!) to stop it wearing unevenly.

Soup made last night in SC has been switched off and is cooling in the kitchen (gingered lentil and sweet potato - it smells delicious). It's foggy and horrid here, so I haven't been for a walk - hopefully it will improve and I'll go after lunch, once my laptop has arrived and I've made my calls!

I need to get showered and dressed as my laptop may arrive anytime from 10am (fingers crossed) and I also need to brave the snow to take the rubbish out...

I have a friend arriving at 4ish who needs help with interview prep, so I need to have downstairs sorted out (not too bad... just a bit of tidying in the kitchen and a quick S&S of the downstairs loo), plus the spare room and bathroom in case she ends up needing to stay (i.e. if more snow dumps here after she's arrived) and bathroom. Workwise I'm supposed to be doing paperwork this morning, but I'll delay it till this evening as it'll be easier with my work laptop...
