Morning all
No more snow and after a gradual thaw this last couple of dys it looks and sounds like it has turned to black ice out there today  I am keeping my fingers crossed that they collect the black bin today.
Final step count yesterday 9655AnW's - Did you get my PMI sent it from work today
I picked it up this morningand will be posting shortly, I will let you know when it's on it's way.

Eek it's the study. :jI have been looking forward to this one as my study is a complete mess (like the rest of my house, only worse).
Unfortunately there will be no flying for me today as I have to go to London and because of the stupid arrangement of the trains, its easier to drive!Back some time tomorrow.
And I wont have time to catch up at the weekend either because I am booked to teach a two day training course. Grrrrr

Hugs hun - I am glad that your much better and for the first time in such a long time. Im a working Mum - Ill be your fwend xxhow do you lot do it? I have done s*d all today and haven't even updated monday's list but I am so tired now I am off to bed and will be up early to catch up on at least some before the LOs get up and the nursery run and breastfeeding support etc etc etc. Night night x x x
Take it easy Arwenelf. Just pick one thing to do everyday and dont worry about trying to complete all the lists. None of us did in the beginning. It takes a while to build up to doing everything.
Turks - lots of love to you hun. I can imagine how hard it is for you right now and thanks for sharing your beautiful poem with us. I read the following at my aunts funeral and try to remember it everyday. Im hoping it might help you too...
Im Free
Dont grieve for me now that Im free,
Im following the path laid out for me.
My time had come, I heard my call,
then turned and bid farewell to all.
I could not stay another day,
to laugh, to love, to sing, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
I found my peace at close of day.
If my parting left a void,
then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
yes, these things too I will miss.
Be not burdened deep with sorrow,
I wish you sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I've savoured much,
good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
dont lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and think of me,
no pain, no sadness, for Im set free.
Lots of love n hugs to everyone else and stay safe in the snow.
I thought I would have to take today off as another holiday as the school has been closed, but my boss drives a 4x4 and he is going to come and pick us up and take us to work etc and LO can go to his out of school club so I best get ready for work.
So far this morning I have read the thread, gathered up LO clothes from yesterday and put a wash on.
Am going for a shower and will start on the bathroom while Im in there. xxSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

No snow here, just a fair bit of rain but it seems a different picture inland.
Busy work day today, with not much time to prepare between calls. It's the first day I've had a full day of client work so a bit of a milestone. I've already cleaned out the stove, hoovered downstairs and dusted the sitting room. It feels a lot better having just run the hoover round quickly. The kitchen is mostly tidy. I'd like to get the stove glass cleaned today, as it makes it easier to see whether it's going OK. I brought more logs in yesterday and sorted them, but regret not making the effort to buy more coal! Next time i go out I will definitely be stocking up...
Breakfast has been eaten, so i'm going to clear up and then nip out for a quick walk to the shop and post office in case I don't manage to escape again today!0 -
FLYLADIES quick question - can I change doing the spare room for the study today? Hubby works from home so it is very difficult to do study as he uses it for work and if I start deep cleaning in there, will get rather annoyed when he is working................
Thanks! If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T
I'm not short - I'm condensed awesome!0 -

Quick question......my DS has to go back to uni today.....can't postpone it any longer...anyone know the weather conditions in Winchester greenbee maybe? It has snowed here again over night & it always seems worse over that way........thanks

Hi 1 step
Yes you can.....the lists are a guide - if you apply it to another room that will be fine. I think there are a few flyladies who do not venture into their OH studies.... :rotfl:Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

DH hoovered yesterday so have managed to cross quite a few things off the lists. Going to strip the bed today and do a few other bits as...we are snowed in again!!! Had a really heavy snowfall overnight. And I'm going to get started on his accounts - with his help
Good news is that the electrician managed to get here to mend our boiler - one of the wires had burned through and had burned a hole in the plastic casing over the wires! He walked here after abandoning his van up the road - what a star! :T"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."
