jackie - with my list I am updating as I go on my first post of the week - p4, and then when I've completed a day I'm copying the title to a new post and making clear that I've completed it...as in:
Monday - Living room, hall and stairs COMPLETED
but some people are doing what KazM has done above and posting their whole list more often. There's no right or wrong: what we were trying to get away from is people posting a very long list with hardly any changes lots of times each day as it makes the thread very long, and also now asking that once a day's done you don't keep bringing forward the whole list striked out for the rest of the week, just the title if you want to remember how you're doing!
soappie - I think I am going to take your advice...currently sat with a bag of frozen peas on it...
Must update my list....
Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
glad you think so because my mum doesn't...it's not a busy pub either but enough going on IYSWIM to give us topics of conversation (like I would ever have nothing to say;)) appreciate the vote of confidence nontheless!Valli - yay, you go girl....as you know it worked for me (not quite the same but similar!) greenbee - you next
*evil cackle*
potty - I normally have reflexology fortnightly, to help with hormone problems (and stress all last year due to restructuring/redundancy/new job), but have missed a couple of sessions due to the weather. It's interesting to see the effect of the change in my diet. All the broccoli is working miracles
I've had an epsom salt bath (for about an hour and a half!), and am now prune-like and wrinkled. Hopefully I'll sleep well and be up bright and early to go to the gym (snow permitting) tomorrow morning as I really NEED a workout. I've got a very full work diary all of a sudden. I appear to be in demand and my diary is filling up with client calls, which is a bit scary but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. I really need to make up for the slackness in flying in the last couple of days and get down to some serious writing as I need to get three papers and one presentation ready for review - two by the end of this week, two by the end of next...
Sleep well... see you tomorrow!0 -

Thank you to everyone that sent and posted kind messages to me. I was actually overwhelmed..
Today has probably been one of the hardest days of my life.. Never in a million years imagined we would be burying mum even though I knew she was terminally ill for over a year. Our church was absloutely packed which made me warm inside to think so many people thought so much of my beautiful Italian Mamma...
I think my father, brother, husband and daughter and I would have done her proud today.. I read out the following poem to her maybe you would like to hear it..In tears we saw you sinking,
And watched you pass away.
Our hearts were almost broken,
We wanted you to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping,
So peaceful, free from pain,
How could we wish you back with us,
To suffer that again.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God took you home.If Roses grow in Heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away.
Don't think of her as gone away
Her journey's just begun
Life holds so many facets
This earth is only one
Just think of her as resting
From the sorrows and the tears
In a place of warmth and comfort
Where there are no days and years
Think how she must be wishing
That we could know, today
Now nothing but our sadness
Can really pass away
And think of her as living
In the hearts of those she touched
For nothing loved is ever lost
And she is loved so very much
Thanks again for all your thoughts and messages..

Good Evening Everyone
Hope you are all well, flying wise, only thing left on Tuesdays list is filters on WM & DW but they are on (20% cheaper after 9) so will do them tomorrow when they get emptied before getting refilled
Valli - Good luck on your blind date, I hope you both like each other and it works out, shouldn't be any "awkward silence" with it being a pub quiz and a wee tip wear BIG knickers and have hairy legs (I wil let you suss that one out :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
AnW's - Did you get my PMI sent it from work today
My DS (2) is having his SF jag on Thurs and am dreading it but when I asked my boss for a holiday (thought it would be good if we went for a treat afterwards to take his mind off it) he said NO as he is getting a fridge freezer delivered which of course is way more important, my DH is night shift and I don't want him to drive DS as by that time he will have been up for 20 hours and believe my, my DH likes his bed, its too risky, both Gran and Granny work so no joy there and my friends work but frankly he is gonna want his mum, am seriously considering calling HR as I think this is unfair, especially as he will not mark himself down as a "half day" as he will be contactable by mobile. Sorry for the rant but he is 60 and his wife is 50 and they never had children and I think he is being totally unfair but apparantly no-one else can answer the phone or do what I do. SO SORRY for the rant but am so angry, appointment cannot be changed as the computer spits it out and they are doing 350 kids a day
On a lighter note....I was at bingo tonight (I go twice a month) and I NEVER WIN, if I do, its only ten pounds or so, tonight, I "shouted" for £100 but so did another 2 ppl THEN I "shouted" for £150, THEN I shouted for £300:T:T:TSo all in, we got £480 between us (we always split down the middle) so I had a better end than start to the day. Hope you are all well, is anyone watching Green Mile? I have saw it lots but think its a fab film and HAD to watch it again.;)
PS Pray for LOTS and LOTS of snow in Overtown, Scotland so I can say I am snowed in and take DS for jag:o
