Thank you. Still think I should keep out of everyone's way for a while.
Don't you dare!! If you don't keep posting we'll have to send out a search party, and I'm not sure toots is up to the journey in this weather!:p:p
Morning all. Expecting loadsa snow today.
Enjoy  Looks like we might get some more too - either today or tomorrow, and there's no sign it'll get above freezing again until the weekend. I suppose I'd better try to find out what's going on with my laptop.

Off to get myself organised for the day. I've got reflexology later which hopefully will energise me a bit. I hope to get some flying done this evening too, before all the good work from last week is undone!

    :mad:Grrrrr RANT ALERT!

Sometimes I wonder why I bother. Yesterday, I decluttered the living room floor and hoovered it. Do I get any thanks for that? No! On the contrary, the bits and bobs that belong to OH got put on his chair for him to sort out when he got home - he doesnt like me putting his things away as he claims he cant find them again when I do. So what does he do? He comes home, pickes up the pile (about 5 items) and dumps it on the floor :mad::mad::mad::mad:

AND THEY ARE STILL THERE THIS MORNING!!!!!:mad:

I get that too - makes me .

Yesterday the living room was looking beautiful (even though I do say so myself) - he came in and started chopping wood on the hearth but bits of wood were flying all over the carpet so I had to revacuum. Why don't they think :confused:

    Anyhow, HHC at 9.30 anyone?

Do you think he just knows how to push your buttons and irritate you, with no regard to the effect it has on the kids?? Try not to rise to it and from now on, just say no. Its really great though that the kids have such a great relationship with OH!! Its hard though not to feel a little bit left out. Ive been there x

No, I think he is just selfish.. he isn't interested in how the children will be feeling today.. But, when they said they were tired and didn't want to get up for school I made them all very much aware that it was his fault for not bringing them home.. I didn't call him names etc I just clearly said he brought them home stupidly late, well past bedtime and that is why I put them to bed when I do so they aren't tired. He doesn't put them to bed at a decent time when he has them on a weekend either they always come back exhausted.

You really made me laugh with this one - my teens do exactly the same thing! They regularly accuse me of hiding their stuff - oh, yes, well, I don't have anything better to do with my time than go round the house deliberately concealing their belongings in strange places do I???

OH off to work, DS1 left with him (in what he described as the middle of the night) as he is a witness in a court case and has to be there for the next three or four days.

DS2 in shower, need to yell again at DD as she has to leave for school...

    Okay, flytime!
