Hugs love, I'm guessing it was a DH aniiversery or something? xxx

Thanks, it was a bit of both really, this time of year is always going to be up and down for me, all our birthdays within 5 weeks of each other! It's Miss A's this week, DH's next (the yellow day!) and W's the week after.

Decluttered a couple of Ballyk's which I enjoyed watching first time round, has helped to make me feel a bit better. Tomorrow is another day and all that so I shall away o bed and my book for a bit.

    Night all xx

Just been in and updated my list, CAN I HAVE A MONDAY STAR PLEASE unfortunately didn't get all my extras finished but snow clearing took up most of my day/nearly killed me off. I am hoping tonight is warmer and there is less ice tomorrow. I do have some DW salt left if I need it but would rather nature made it's path now as it seems wasteful :o I just edited my original list back.....<<< somewhere so I didn't need to repost it.

Small shop today inc stuff for DPs keema rice meal thingy which we did enjoy, I might make again but wouldn't buy another full price set/kit thing. You know when you empty a sachet and think, that's way too much water, what a faff on getting it right. I've kept the ingredients list for the right spices to use to replicate it. Curtain rails are all up now, wooohooooo, DP well and truly kicked into action, decided I can't afford the curtain for the other door yet which isn't really draughty as it's a second door so taking the pole back when I return the other curtains. Unfortunately he lost some bits behind the new, very heavy sofa, so we had to move it so I cleaned behind while we were there. Stupid bafoon he is.

Ok, so will add the extras to tomorrow, off to empty the DW, get uniforms out and make pack ups before bed. Hope no bizarre dreams tonight that DP says school is shut so I go back to sleep :o

PS Haribo your sister said you don't need flylady :p

NOTE TO SELF : Phone stupid old gas company who want me to pay for gas twice, grump!
One day I might be more organised...........

    xmas-smiley-010.gifMorning lovely flyladies,
To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough.

    Wipe units/appliances
Clear and wipe window sills.. do not put back the junk.. bin it!

Clean one small appliance thoroughly.. microwave, kettle, iron,
Clean appliance filters.. WM DW, Kettle, Vacuum cleaner.. cooker hood.. :pThis one may have to wait for the weekend, as DH normally does the filters on the WM, TD and DW as I struggle to do them as I can't kneel down for long. Filter can't be cleaned on the vacuum, no cooker hood and my old kettle died over Christmas, so filter on my new one is still clean.:p

    Extras
    1. Sharpen knives
    2. [STRIKE]Order and organise the spices and sauces. [/STRIKE] Did this just before Christmas, just checked them, still in order:j
    3. Sort the plastic boxes/tupperware
    4. [STRIKE] Medical box - restock and inventory. I'm sure a lot of us will have run out of the vitals the last few months! [/STRIKE] Did this before the New year, was a nightmare stocking up on paracetamol and stuff as the shops have to limit the amount you can buy and I'm stocking up for 8. I will have to be more organised and restock on a more regular basis.

    Morning all
Thank you. Still think I should keep out of everyone's way for a while.

Don't you even DARE to think about doing that!

AnW's, let me know when it's yellow day and I'll wear something appropriate xx

I slept well last night which was good but means I'm a bit bleary eyed at the moment. There's still snow lying and we're forecast for a bit more this evening.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, I found out yesterday that some of the temps kicked up a fuss about not getting paid for the snow day last week (I just accepted it as a way of a temp's life) so it has been decreed that we'll now get paid for it after all. That was unexpected! :D

Right off to fetch another cup of tea and do the stars. I shall fly in the kitchen when I get home. Oh - and those of you who are modifying lists on earlier pages, please make sure you create a NEW post when you need a star, I never look back when I'm doing them...
