Should be fine, the weather's much warmer today, about 2 degrees, and I can see grass now in my garden. The foxes are everywhere, poor things (DOn't tell the chook keepers I said that!) they must be starving, and of course they'll be in season round about now. My OH works in Clydebank just now and he says it's been fine over that end, I'm nearer Celtic Park than Love Street, Jinky! It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Just wanted to put in my tuppence worth......I have said it so many times (you will all be sick of me) but the love & support on this thread is second to none.....& I would hate to lose that....I appreciate it is off-putting for newbies....but as pigpen & others have said...once the New Year flurry is over it will all even itself out again.....so I guess we all have to be patient.....too much chat & it is very difficult to keep up....even for me who does nothing
& it makes it very hard for toots or soappie to see who needs stars.....but without some chat & certain personalities
it risks losing it's charm.......on that note I will shut up before I get thrown off
DITTO APART FROM THE SHUTTING UP AND THROWING OUT:rolleyes:
AnW's Big hugs honey....xx
toots Never apologize...we love you as you are xx
Flying......decluttered some chocolate

anyway I am signing off for now but I did want to say one thing as I didnt do it earlier
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACH:bdaycake:Yes I know i am shouting but its a long way to london from scotland and I wanted this lovely lady to know that I was thinking of her and I hope she has had a fandabbydozey day because she deserves it xxxxxxxxxxxx

Thank you soappie, that was exactly what I intended.
BenW had seen a warm welcome - I had been aware of a feeling of being invaded.
Thank you. Still think I should keep out of everyone's way for a while.0 -

I'm a long time lurker and long time lazy butt.
I think that flylady could be a good idea for me but when I come in from work and do the dinner I have that "I really can't be bothered with cleaning" feeling.....
How long on average would you say you spend on each level per day? I think if I had an idea how long it would take me, this might give me more opportunity to decide how I could incorporate flylady in my day to day life.....
Thanks in advance to any replies
Hiya nutty
I would look at it another way and say "how much time do I have to do houseworky jobs each day" and then do what you can in that amount of time.
The great thing about the lists is it focuses you rather than you panicking about it all, and the same basic tasks crop up every week so you get on top of and, more importsantly, stay on top of the basics, really quickly, and then you can spend any leftover time doing other jobs off the lists. When my children are off school I have no chance of getting everything done so I do what I can each day, this may mean, for example on bathroom day that the shower cubicle gets done one week and the bath the next, or that I change childrens beds one week and ours the next, that kind of thing. Use it as a tool to imrpove what you already do and dont stress about always doing everything otherwise you will get so hacked off if it doesnt happen.
Hope that helps!

Is anyone in Glasgow? Can you tell me what the roads are like there - specifically M8 around J29. DH is driving up there on Thursday so wants an idea of how good/bad the weather/roads are.
The M8, in that area, is absolutely fine.
Most of the west side of the M8 is ok.... I think the futher east you go, the worse it is... but thats not until waaaaay east past the M74 cutoff.
(J29 is the airport for whoever asked)
But as you know, it could all change again before Thursday....
If you PM me on Wednesday, I will be able to give you a better update(sorry, I would forget to do it without a PM
