I've got washing out on the line too! I don't think it will dry properly but it's nice to freshen it up and then when I put it round the radiators later it will make the house smell nice too.

Roast dinner cooked, eaten and cleared away. DDs 1&2 both here today. DD1 has now gone shopping and DD2 is asleep on the settee with the dog.....

I polished in the living room and the computer desk this morning and vacuumed right through downstairs. DH got up just in time to come down for dinner and he's reading the paper now (which me and the dog went to buy).

Brrr tis cold here - was going to put wasing on line but really is freezing still - am usually a fresh air freak but ended up under duvet half the day yesterday and am still feeling cold in my bones.

Am concentrating on the basics today and trying to sort a load of school stuff from the job I just left.

Plan for the rest of today:
    Finish writing assessments

Sort out papers for different teachers
Nip to shop just before closing to get cheap fruit/veg for us and Nana
Decorate some biscuits with the kids
    Chuck a lasagne together
    DW/WM
    Iron stuff for morning
    Sort dd's school bag
    Reference for Polly

    Hi again all -

I have decluttered some chicken salad wraps and taken dog and DS out for a walk. LO brought his new scooter and they both had lots of fun.

Forgot to put the washing machine on when I refilled it, but its on again now x

Quillion, DS1 was a girl at his 34 week, 'oh dear baby isnt growing at all' scan. Luckily I was in hospital from then on so hadn't actually bought her/him anything. It was like a scene from Blackadder when he was born though - me to DH, 'is it me or do we have a girl with a winkie?' 'that'll be a boy then', 'oh dear'. We didn't have a boy name so was named after a character in the last book I had read in the hospital, which was a Pratchett. He does get teased a bit at school about being called Rincewind!

Anyway, still in search of the missing seed tin. I have tidied the green house, the potting shed and the clenaing shelf of the pantry. Just stopping for a nice roast beef sunday lunch and then back to playing hunt the seed tin.

Dusty our green waste (brown bins) don't get emptied Nov-Feb are yours not the same? Of course our whole county has different policies around it as it became unitary after they all went their own way!
Ishtar why don't you get him to sell them instead of parcelling them up to just sit i the loft?
juliejim my boys trousers are laid out across the bottom of the wardrobe or hung up, well done with the ironing :)

Ended up having a tiff with DP this morning, just basically him being obnoxious so he threw a tantrum and went to his racing on his own, suits me just fine! I didn't want to go anyway. He's actually brought in an OK wage this weekend which is a relief.

Weather isn't too bad, not drying outside weather yet but improving. I need to spend an hour in the garden tomorrow clearing up and removing the poop that keeps appearing as the snow melts :o DS1s watching animal autopsy on a giraffe......he's not bothered with the ewwwy bits just fascinated. Ds2 thankfully upstairs as he can't cope with blood :rotfl: He's built another 3 lego models, all three had no missing pieces so he is thrilled!

Think I'll go do the kitchen, get the DW emptied and refilled and do some more laundry.
One day I might be more organised...........
