Why do witches get such a bad name???????:p I for one quite like boiling up bones to make stock! Admittedly I use my saucepan rather than the cauldron though! :rotfl:

    :j:jCan I have a fanfare please!:j:j

I've finished my ironing - okay I'm 3 weeks late on my ironing challenge but there is not 1 thing left in my basket.

The fact there will be later as the WM is on is beside the point!

Woohooo well done Jue :T:T:T ur;s a great feeling but like you I have a load drying now and a load in the WM so it is never empty for long. But these days it is never a huge pile.

Back from the Sunday school walk, we as a church have decided to have a collection for the earthquake victims. It was announced this morning and I was nominated collector of donations  as it was only announced today I didn't expect many but quote a few people came yto me with donations.

Off to check the books Miss A has, sort the TD contents and do some shredding. Reckon that will contribute to a HHC starting now, anyone else joining in?

soappie -pm'd but your box is full. Just wanted to say thank you for the cooking tips, :A, now copied into Word and saved, so I shall try that out. Saw Hugh Fearnly thing once saying that there was no need nowadays to boil up bones like a witch, and wondered why on earth he thought that any stock cube was worth using.I know there are some that are better, but I usually find them too salty.

I have resolved the PM box full situation. Glad to have been of help. I'm just about to fry up the potatoes I saved from last night for a fry up brunch! :D
