Afternoon!
Mudders - so sorry to hear about your friend and I am sending you peaceful thoughts.
Pigpen - looking forward to the new lists! (well I think I am............)
I hope everyone else is ok? My cold is on its way out, yesterday was the worst day and I was the wife from h3ll!!! Ah well, bought him chocolate.
I have been busy with paperwork today. We renewed our drivers licences - and cost £48!!!!! £20 each for new licence and £4 each for the new photo. What a rip off. Not amused, all cos we moved house 10 years ago and these photo licences run out after 10 years. grrrrr
Have also written a letter to our mortage company, actually remembered to write out some birthday cards (go me!) and checked when the house insurance is due. Need to phone them so will in the morning, got a couple of questions.
Apart from that, hoovered right through, one lot of washing done, DW just about finished, dogs walked and cuddled. A very nice peaceful day!

That is true - which is probably why i tend to clean top of the fridge freezer once a month. Either that or I just forget to do it:o as its soooo high."Life's like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get" Forest Gump0 -

Thats all I seem to do as well. I do have an old towel by the back door to catch the worst of the mud from the furlets...................but they have taken to doing a flying leap through their dog flap and see who can slide the furthest along the floor..............sigh.If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T

Afternoon all,
Just had a lovely afternoon with a colleague from work, who came over to cheer her up - we didn't end up going into town in the end cos she'd already eaten, so I've just eaten as she's left. We ended up talking about school pretty much the whole time, and it felt really good that we are both going through exactly the same thing, so know what each other is feeling. She's a lovely girl, and I hope things get better for her soon. She's scared to take the antianxiety medication that she's been prescribed in case she's on them forever (same stuff as me, but on a lower dose). We've arranged to go out for a drink straight after work on Friday so that we've got something to look forward to. It also means that neither of us will be in school until 6pm on a Friday that way. Although I hate it at my school, I'm glad that I worked there, as I've met some lovely members of staff, who I hope shall remain friends after I leave too.
As my friend was coming over, OH and I had a mad flying session this morning for 2 hours! Our house is looking a lot tidier and there is less clutter in all of the rooms as OH has put some of it up in the loft. Still, at least now I will find it easier to hoover and won't keep on tripping over things. I hoovered the whole of the upstairs, the downstairs and sofas, dusted the living room and bedroom and sorted through my purse, putting the vouchers in there that had been hanging around the house. Need to do a bit of washing and make a sausage pie for dinner, and of course there is all of the school work, but things are looking a lot nicer in the house. Shame the central heating installation will probably undo all of our hard work, but at least it looked nice for my friend and she won't think I live in hovel.
Well I'd better get on with a bit of literacy planning as my colleague is probably wondering when I'm going to email them to her.
Hugs to all who need them, and well done to those who have been flying.

Have any of you any idea why there is a set of eyelash curlers in the bottom of my washing basket!?!????
They have obviously fallen off the dresser at some point and into the basket!
Dog has been bathed. Dinner made and decluttered. Apple and blackberry pie is in the oven.....mmmmmmm yum! Have done another lot of dishes and mopped the flipping kitchen floor again
Have taken some more of the cardboard from my new coffee table packaging and managed to fit it in the orange bin. Have put the big box out in the rain so it will go soggy and hopefully I can squash it down to fit it in the bin when it gets emptied on Wednesday
Have gathered up some more gibble for the bin and put another wash on.
I decluttered a load of Toy story toys, bedding and books to a lady on Netmums so Im £20 richer.
Ive taken some more photos for Ebay but havent actually listed anything else yet.
Ok off to find something else to do before my get up and go gets up and goesSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

OH, well done, what toys were they and how much did they sell for? As DD has decided she doesn't want her Woody and Buzzyear toys anymore and was wondering if I could sell them on Netmums as my last lot was not successful. TIA xx0 -
