PP - I have fond memories of your flylady head to head half term challenge with TNG some years ago - or have I just imagined this?

Hiya - hope you're all ok.

Sorry to bring a bit of a downer to the thread but I've just had a truly shocking phone call from a friend. His wife has been given a week, at most. If anyone could be an angel and send some collective peace and pain free flylady vibes I would really, really appreciate it. Her name is Karena. Many, many thanks xxx

Best wishes, and vibes of calm and peace, Karena.

  • Hello
Just a quick sign in from me. Have been with you all in spirit but not been able to read nor got much done, however OH is home and has been a star. I am going to Australia next week so won't be around for a while. Will be joining you when I get back, going to be leaving teens and OH so not sure of the state of the place but they probably won't be as bad as me.
Am really scared of the flight. Not looking forward to it at all but will just have to get on with it. Good luck to you all in your flying. Hugs to all in need.

That's the spirit girl! You're worth much more then him xxx

procrastinator - have a lovely time down under.

Well, I have flown and flown and flown after having some colour put back in my hair by my hairdresser. The amount of flying I've done means I can claim a full house for this week :D

Still feeling bleurghhh off and on. I'm wondering if I have an allergy to one of the animals. I relented and used the tumble drier this afternoon in an attempt to truly conquer mount washmore. I cleared the filter of dog and cat hairs and didn't wash my hands afterwards. My eyes are now beautifully swelling up.

The brown stock I made smells and tastes divine so I'm about to go and create a masterpiece with it and some pheasant I've dug out of the freezer.

    Extras
    1. Sharpen knives
    2. Order and organise the spices and sauces.
    3. Sort the plastic boxes/tupperware
    4. Gather insurance documents/guarantees/important papers together in one accessible file
    5. Passports are being processed really quickly at the moment (stepdads took 3 days!) if yours needs renewing for a holiday this year get it done now to save that last minute panic!
    6. Organise Pantry/freezer & inventory
All lists complete Toots ,(and Soappie!!!) Thanks xx

Will see if I can do the extras tomorrow xx

rach/greenbee Got my e mail from Craghoppers yesterday morning. According to the HDN tracking info it was at Droitwich 6.30 yesterday morning but no further tracking info. It says on the site they deliver everyday. Im guessing maybe Monday.
Thanks, mine just says 'The parcel data has been received' twice last night! Oh well. we'll see, would just be fab if it came tomorrow otherwise will no doubt be out!

Dinner eaten, i am going for a bath before we watch a film. Need to decide what to wear tomorrow - there won't be many options as jeans are out :rotfl: I have a long black denim skirt, that should do. MiL is kindly driving me there as though it's only a 20 minute walk I don't think that's a good idea at the moment. My ankle is still a bit sore, especially during and after walking and there's a lot of bruising both on and around the bone itself and along the top of my foot.

soappie - pheasant sounds wonderful. Think we're having poussins tomorrow as I bought them for 83p each yellow stickered a couple of weeks ago. I'm thinking roast veg and herby roasted new potatoes and a nice gravy.
