Hiya - hope you're all ok.

Sorry to bring a bit of a downer to the thread but I've just had a truly shocking phone call from a friend. His wife has been given a week, at most. If anyone could be an angel and send some collective peace and pain free flylady vibes I would really, really appreciate it. Her name is Karena. Many, many thanks xxx
    Mudders that is terrible:(

love and hugs to all concerned and peace vibes flying her way:A

Although that's no comfort to those families who the reaper touches.
the mention of the reaper always make me shiver
I......but as I tend not to get into lots of chatting, I feel that I'm seen as a bit of an outsider (I appreciate that my Special Buddies don;t feel like that, but lots do :p not a problem, as I've said).
(((hugs)))) to you Penny - I had noticed that you dont always 'chat' but I took it that as a BG it would be inappropriate - I am shocked that you feel like an outsider and I certainly dont consider you as one - I think of you as a very imprtant part of our family - you are a flylady like all of us and we are doubly fortunate that you also act as our guardian angel (because you keep an eye on us and keep us from harm when we get carried away) - like a big sister does:A:A:A you are one of the kindest thoughtful people I know and i would be very sad if you didnt join in. I too miss your long:eek: lists -and there is always something on your lists which raises a giggle here:D xxxx

AnW'sMum I havent read up on all the thtread yet but i do know about your bad head so I am hoping you are doing as told and resting .....BUT...... you could sort out your TAX RETURN while you are sat down:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
beemuzed hope you have got some stuff put on these new shelves - now be sure to do it properly and not just bung on a pile of stuff that you intend to sort another time - like we all do:rotfl::rotfl: I hope the shelves make a big difference
SunnyGirl nice to see you but I think you need huge (((hugs)))
brummiebabe thats great news about the house sale - will be keeping everything crossed for it to go through ok this time.
helen jelly I am pleased that the camera didnt find anything wrong with DH - I hope he is on the mend now. and thank you for the comments re the passport - you are right I should do it.

froddy I am sending you a huge squishy(((hug))) cos it sounds like you need one - well it does where I am reading at the mo - I hope the week has improved for you xx
jjef well done getting through the ironing - that is a brilliant

Two lovely chaps came and inspected the property, told me off about cables and mess :o:o but also fitted for FREE two smoke alarms with lights that don't need batteries changing and talked me through the suspected fire proceedure. I thoroughly recommend it :)
well done mushypeas for getting your fire alarms done - and thats a very important point that the firemen made 'mess!!!' - its a fire hazard so take heed all of you that have clutter lying about the floor - not only is is a danger if you are trying to get out of the house quickly if there's a fire it can also contribute to a fire so get working on clearing clutter from the floors and especially around electrical equipment and cables and sockets.
Aunty Crafty you are not allowed to 'keep out of everyone's way' - I need to see you posting - if you keep away then so will I!!!!! I like knowing you are there 'just up the road' so dont you dare disappear on me - you are a big part of this thread xx
Ragz I love the suggestion by pigpen
"Ragz, could he not offer his 'in house' services instead of garden services? helping others do little jobs around the house, painting, tiling, furniture rearranging? just to get a little money in and keep busy. Just a thought in case it might help.. :D
I know its the sort of thing i would be so grateful for - an odd-job man if you like -there are loads of things I cant or wont tackle so it could be a nice side line for him:confused::D
MissHiggerty well done getting your research appointment - all the little bits will help.
Cosmomo (((hugs))) for you too - its not an easy time so dont be hard on yourself and if you need to cry then do it - its a great release of tension. I am sure you will manage to have a party in time. I dont know the circumstances but could you bring yourself to use the party for DD1 to also be a 'thanksgiving' type of day for DS1? I dont mean to offend or upset you honey xx
SAVEALOT hope your back is now a bit easier - dont over do it
rach hope your ankle is improving and you have been resting it
lil_me I hope Dh's work is getting better again - I think a lot of people will have learnt from this bad spell to be more prepared for next winter - both financially and physically.
embb (((hugs))) and I hope you have managed to calm down a bit and get your head round the financial bits - its not easy when it all happens at once!!!
FFP well done to Piper xx and hello and (((hugs))) to you xx
kazm I would love for you to be a SAHM too - you have been so relaxed this last few weeks and i am sure it must be better for your health - I will miss you but i hope work is ok and as you said you are healthier tahn in ages and that HAS to be the best news xx 'my holiday dream' what a lovely way to put it - thanks honey I think I will get the passport sorted - will ebay for the fees
macpep hope you managed to sort out DS's jag and well done with the bingo wins - thats brilliant anytime but especially just after Christmas. ETA I see you got the time off - well done - hope Ds is over the jag.
Diva hope you are making friends with the new car and that the news of Tris and Pam is good,
Summermoon hope you have managed to get rid of the BD - well done for picking yourself up - I know what you mean when you say about when the house is a mess and you are a mess too - evn if you come and look at your list and pick 1 job and go away and do it and come back for another it will get you going again - I know you can get back in control
ceebeeby Its nice to see you are finding the thread helpful - I think its the focus that helps - we all know what we should be doing but its doing it in logical order that helps
Mumof2 its lovely that your Dh is noting and appreciating the difference - well done and I hope you havent found it a hard chore to do - its amazing the difference all the little jobs make - like cleaning the mirrors - keep up the good work - even if you fall off the wagon at times it doesnt take so much effort to get it back in line.
MOJ2 usually it just means for that room - pipen normally says if its the whole house.
pooh could you confine her to an easy clean floor like the kitchen or put down some old sheets or towells to protect your carpet - failing that you will have to try to wipe where she is lying when she moves! - as its blood its better if you can get it before it dries in.
melspur hope your little DS is is a bit better - I am sending get well vibes and a huge squishy hug for the poor wee man
Mudbath what a terribel fright for you and what a lovely gentleman to look after you. I hope your knees are healing now - loads of love and get well vibes xx
Juliejim Congratulations to your DS - its great for them to be able to swim - its never easy to learn later in life and such good exercise too.
sexy hugs as ever honey - hope you can keep sane until leaving time xx
pigpen it sounds like Jacob is fun to have - in small doses LOL!!! why is he afraid of OH's feet - does he wear big shoes - i suppose all adult feet are huge to a tiddler! Nice to hear you are eating for a change too!
lala that was very lucky about DH;s car - could have been more than his damaged!

    back after tea
    toots xx

Thank you to you all. I think it's the shock and the fact she's my age, has children the same age as my children and had the same op as me. It really puts things in perspective. Thanks again xx
