Peace and love for Karena, such a horrible thing to have to hear. Lots of hugs for you too Mudders.

Toots glad to see you posting, we were worried!

I've cleaned some bits and bobs today, went out for lunch, we were going to go to the cinema but town was packed! Bought some pink roses which are just gorgeous. Ooh and saw a cookbook on fairy cakes in town which I've now ordered on amazon for less money

Having salmon tikka and naan bread for dinner, then down to the pub for some drinkies with my friends who've just got back to Manchester.

Love to everyone, peaceful and healthy vibes to everyone too

ETA: my craghoppers parcel has been dispatched (email late last night), tracking thing just says data received, any ideas when to expect it. Realised I should have got it delivered to FiLs as it'll doubtless arrive when we're at work!

greenbee - i need your mob number so I can text you questions like this!!
Mine came via HDN, about 36 hours after the email I think...

greenbee knowing you use just natural products, do you know what make colourings your hairdresser uses? Trying to find natural ones that aren't in USA and will give me an ingredients list
If you're going to a salon, I think John Masters does natural colours. Otherwise my health food shop stocks natratint. This is the one thing I'm NOT currently using natural products for (I like my hairdresser too much to move, even for natural colours), so I take psyllium husk tablets and charcoal the day before, the day of and a couple of days after. Bentonite clay is also useful. And I drink gallons of water.

greenbee can you PM me some more details about the walk next weekend, so that I know times, where we're meeting etc. Who else is going too? Is it ok if my Mum joins us, as she wasn't able to go on the last one cos of her toe operation (she may not be able to, but I thought I'd ask in case) and she likes walking?
Of course your mum is welcome (well, unless Froddy or Jill D have any major objection!). We're meeting 11am at the pub in Selborne - it's a 3.5 mile circular walk, then back to the pub for lunch & to plan further walks. Then if I can persuade anyone to do another 5.5 miles in the afternoon I'll be doing that too!

Parked at my brothers, had coffee with them, was driven to the hairdressers :o as it was peeing with rain (and my brother had to go out!), had my hair done (much darker, with a sort of fringe) and then walked back to discover my brother had fitted my bluetooth kit in the car :T:T. Had a cup of tea and a gossip, then came back via the farm shop and have lots of veggies. I just need to check whether I need any other shopping, as if I do, I'll get it tonight while the supermarket is quiet rather than braving it on a Sunday.

I might (only might!) go to the gym tomorrow morning and then potter round town when the shops open (if the running shop is open I can go and get myself some trainers in preparation for starting running again!). I also need to go to the bottle bank and tetrapak bank...

ETA - just checked and the running shop is closed on sundays...

(((hugs)))) to you Penny - I had noticed that you dont always 'chat' but I took it that as a BG it would be inappropriate - I am shocked that you feel like an outsider and I certainly dont consider you as one - I think of you as a very imprtant part of our family - you are a flylady like all of us and we are doubly fortunate that you also act as our guardian angel (because you keep an eye on us and keep us from harm when we get carried away) - like a big sister does:A:A:A you are one of the kindest thoughtful people I know and i would be very sad if you didnt join in. I too miss your long:eek: lists -and there is always something on your lists which raises a giggle here:D xxxx
I agree with all of the above! You are definitely NOT an outsider here, you are very important to all of us xx

    Toots, how are you today?

Love and hugs to Lady Liberty and Diva

Soappie I hope you are better soon

    Hugs Rach xx

Sammiel how did your DD get on in town?

Mudbath my thoughts and prayers are with your friend and her family

All our snow and ice has melted, and so even though it was pouring with rain, we were determined to go out! Had a really good morning out and on the way home I went to the library as had run out of books to read! Some of my books were overdue and couldn't be renewed online, but they had an amnesty on fees cos people were snowed in and couldn't get their books back! Yay! I love it when people use common sense and don't stick to the letter of the law in these situations :T

I've been asleep all afternoon as got worn out being out, but have really enjoyed the day!

I've not mentioned the reaction to my earlier post, but this has brought a tear to my eye (nothing to do with the 2 glasses of sherry, honest  ) so thank you to everyone for your kind comments :A I promise to no longer feel an outsider, and to include amusements on my list :D

Muddrers - huge hugs to you and yours :A

I have a house full of teenage girls  and a bombsite of a kitchen in the wake of DD's cooking (she definitely takes after her dad in being able to use every last pan and utensil when cooking :rotfl: ).

    See you all later.
