    I am back for my week two.

    Did most of Level ones last week, along with plenty of rest, daytime TV and learning to crochet

    Monday - Living room, hall and stairs
    Level one
    Clear floors of clutter and vacuum them
    Make time for yourself!! Half an hour of peace!/hobbies/SOAADFA
    Level Two
    Wipe sofas
    [STRIKE]Vacuum under furniture you can safely move.. I don't want any hurt bodies! - [/STRIKE] Not needed this week - DOH did last week
    Sort coats and shoes and bags
    Level Three
    [STRIKE] Sort out emergency box.. in case of power failures etc.. candles, matches/lighter/torch/batteries and emergency numbers.. plumber, gas, electric, water etc[/STRIKE] Already have
    Organise a bookshelf!
    Check smoke alarms and light bulbs

    Extras
    1. Wipe tops of downstairs door frames
    2. polish and dust all the electricals!
    3. Binbag dance..
    4. [STRIKE] Online banking [/STRIKE] Done
    5. Order DS replacement passport
    6. Sort DS CRB form
    7. Sort DS Bank Account - Starts first ever part time job tonight
    8. Get DS girlfriend to college
    Update you all later - aiming for that first star

  • Count me in. I am half way there thanks to my boys having vacuumed under the sofa's for me on Sunday! YEAH!

    I will be subbing dinning room chairs for sofa's in terms of wiping them... the lounge is done! Even all the skirting boards were done by my youngest son! I will be including a lot of dusting though - mainly books on the bookshelf that need a vacuum as it is amazing how dusty they can get! That will be my sort out the bookshelf bit!

    I like the emergency box - will be doing that one!:A

    It's cold this morning again and I'm a bit bunged up and snotty but feel Ok in myself. Work is open so I'll go jump in the bath soon and get ready and go.

    Tuesday ~ Kitchen, Utility and Dining Area
    Level One
    Wipe and replace small appliances
    [STRIKE]Declutter and wipe work surfaces[/STRIKE] Done!
    Level Two
    Sweep and mop floors
    Wipe units/appliances
    Clear and wipe window sills.. do not put back the junk.. bin it!
    Level Three
    Tidy, clear and wipe the top of the fridge and freezer
    Clean one small appliance thoroughly.. microwave, kettle, iron,
    Clean appliance filters.. WM, DW, Kettle, Vacuum cleaner.. cooker hood.. :p
    Extras
    1. [STRIKE]Sharpen knives[/STRIKE] Done (last week!)
    2. Order and organise the spices and sauces.
    3. Sort the plastic boxes/tupperware
    4. Medical box - restock and inventory. I'm sure a lot of us will have run out of the vitals the last few months! (Will have to make one first!)

    Wipe inside of oven and grill. (Done everyday then I don’t have to clean it IYSWIM)
    Sweep + mop kitchen floor.
    S+S downstairs toilet + mop floor.
    Mop front doorstep.
    Tidy living room and put any stuff upstairs.
    Wipe over PC desk + keep free from clutter.
    Tidy bedrooms and make beds.
    Bring dirty washing downstairs.
    Do 2 loads of washing.
    Tidy and S+S bathroom.
    Hoover d/s toilet/hallway/kitchen/living room/dining room + stairs
    Hoover bedrooms/landing and bathroom.
    Sort clean washing + put clothes away.
    Keep ironing together (x15)
    Walk Sweep. (delegate if needed)

    Morning All,
    Thank you all for your help and tips last week, actually managed a Lazy Sunday yesterday because the house was soooo up-to-date.

    I am working 9-5 today so will go for Family Room Day - Level 1 and try to play catch up later on in the week because this is my only full day at work. Good luck everyone else, will post my list this evening when I have completed what I can do. :D

    Well, I've not had chance to keep up with the thread :o!

    Can't believe what a difference a thread can make. My house is lovely and its an absolute pleasure. I've developed new, better habits of picking things up and S&S without any reminders!

    As you probably know, I've not been in the best of places and I found this thread at the right time, I dont think you guys realise just how much it means to me to be able to hang around in here!
