    Turkolina, you have my heartfelt sympathies for the loss of your Mum. Although you knew she was ill her passing must be very, very hard for you hun and I have no doubt you are probably still in shock.xxxx

  • thank you so much.. Your right.. i'm just going through the motions.. I expect after the funeral and the visitors stop coming and the cards don't drop on the mat that reality might kick in.. God knows what i will do then.. Keep my house clean i hope...

    So sorry to hear about your loss, lots of hugs for you and your family at what must be a very difficult time for you, keep posting on here and we'll all help out as much as we can.

    hi all and thank you to all the relevant persons

    im in again and want to make lots of time for ebaying this week
    really want to work hard so i am not dealing with a tip every week and week after week
    would like to find a place for everything and declutter
    would also like to decorate hot room which is now empty before florida trip in 4 weeks
    need to cut back and make cash

    really concerned about the money for florida and the golf this year

    Hardly evening anymore now is it !!

    Many thanks to HRH, Toots and soappie for posting thread and keeping up to date with it all

    Have tonight :-
    Cleared away dinner things
    DW on
    S/S kitchen
    Cleared table
    Shined my sink :D
    Prepped all sandwiches for kids for week
    Frozen sarnies that can be frozen
    Wrapped DH pressie and written card

    Monday - Living room, hall and stairs
    Level one
    Clear floors of clutter and vacuum them
    Make time for yourself!! Half an hour of peace!/hobbies/SOAADFA - took me a while to work that one out
    Level Two
    Wipe sofas
    Vacuum under furniture you can safely move.. I don't want any hurt bodies!
    Sort coats and shoes and bags
    Level Three
    Sort out emergency box.. in case of power failures etc.. candles, matches/lighter/torch/batteries and emergency numbers.. plumber, gas, electric, water etc
    Organise a bookshelf!
    [STRIKE]Check smoke alarms[/STRIKE] Checked tonight but I really need to get sorted and get some more,1 in a 5 bed 3 storey house is NOT enough



    Extras
    1. Wipe tops of downstairs door frames
    2. Wash any soft furnishing that need it
    3. polish and dust all the electricals!
    4. Binbag dance..
    My Extras
    Mon
    Make & ice DH cake
    Make muffins/flapjacks or whatever for packups
    [STRIKE]Collect up all dirty laundry[/STRIKE]
    WM x ??
    [STRIKE]Empty DW so breakfast & tea things can go straight in[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Write[/STRIKE] and post Pams card
    Order Pams flowers for Tues
    Go up town to change DH coat
    Update finances -this is red now as needs doing
    Review meal plan
    Freeze sausages
    Tues
    Ensure I can get car out of yard -dig out if necessary
    Get DH to check oil/water/tyres etc
    3.40pm Doctors for blood results
    Iron all work clothes
    Wed
    Return to work (95% sure this will be happening :()
    Book A/L for 23 Feb to take DS to Leicester Uni

    In the mean time

    Ballerinacaz - Welcome sweetie, its nice to see a teenager wanting to join to keep house tidy. The list is just a guideline for what to do and it can be done by anyone in the family so the more you get to join in the easier it will be.
    poohspals - ooooh a caravan park, is it static or tourers as several of us on here have the latter. We could have a get together.
    kiwiblue - wow that was quick, even though you are half a day ahead you still only got the list at the same time
    mumof2 - its really good to hear your flying improves your depression
    pillion - hugs. Hope family probs have settled
    turkolina - welcome and massive hugs for the loss of your dear mum

    Oh my, another challenge, and one I most defininely need to follow if you guys will have me over for the party!

    I'm not 100% sure I've got it yet, but I'm a fast learner. Do I do the housework suggested on PP's OP? Does that get updated every day? Do I need to copy and paste it in, in case it's edited out?

    Tx so much for having me - I'm looking forward to getting my duster out!
