  • Amazing - finished my bedroom with 5 minutes to spare of my back-to-back HHC.

(OK - well it's amazing for me!)

Thursday ~ Master Bedroom and Landing Please can I have a star Toots? :j:j:j
    Level One
[STRIKE]Declutter the floor.. and vacuum it!
Strip the bedding, wash and replace! [/STRIKE]
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Vacuum the dust mites off the mattress and turn it if you can!
Declutter your make-up.. it breeds all manner of germs!! and bin any ancient smellies
Organise the towels and spare bedding.. fling what needs to be flung![/STRIKE]
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Find 5 items from each cupboard to be binned/charity shopped.. pairs of things can count as 2... holey socks, pants with no elastic etc.. [/STRIKE] Done my best, but I buy very little and deliberately wear things to death doing the garden...
[STRIKE]Clean fronts and behinds of radiators!
Wipe tops of upstairs door frames [/STRIKE]

    Extras
    1. [STRIKE]Sock pairing session.. you have to pair up at least 20 odd socks![/STRIKE] Did this at the weekend. I get odd socks because I throw one sock of a pair away if it gets so thin/full of holes that I can't repair it. But I only ever buy plain black nowadays so they all sort-of match one another
    2. [STRIKE]Clean vacuum innards, pipes and filters.. do not use again until it is all dry![/STRIKE] Emptied the dust drum and removed the shield completely to poke all the dust off the filter cone, then reassembled. Filter needs washing every 6 months: did mine Oct, so should be OK. Dust is in the compost bin.
    3. Wash some stinky trainers!! .. We all have some!
    4. Mend 1 item you have been putting off for weeks! Who, moi? :rotfl:
Hmm. The kitchen didn't get done this week, so that's first on the list for next week. But I've done a S&S. The bathroom also needs doing - again I've S&S but not much else.

Will try for 4 stars next weeks - meantime keep safe out there. I'm going to spend the weekend half in the greenhouse and half on ebay/doing a coat fling. Wish me luck!

    Hugs to everyone

    MissH

Maybe we need to start up an agency of such ladies to travel around the London underground and bus services with the express purpose of reminding people (particularly blokes!) of their manners!
    Great idea!

I'm not going to get rid of any odd socks - I just wear them odd! It's quite funny as some of my friends find this very disturbing...but there's a shop at Bluewater that actually sells odd socks - for more than most would pay for a pair
Ooh, what's it called? I always wear my socks odd, and my friends think I'm a right weirdo!

Ive also managed to declutter some toy story toys through Netmums as some lady was looking so Im going to sell her some stuff and some bedding and that will be my London fund officially started! :D
Could you ask on there about the clothes that Pigpen's nephew needs? Sounds like a pretty desperate situation.

Holly Happy Birthday, hope you've had fun.

Not managed any flying yet as I've been out all day.

Going to get DS3 to get the sack of potatoes in from the car, put the dinner on and do a HHC at16:45 if anybody feels the urge
