Friday ~ Childrens/Spare rooms.. or any other room you have neglected
    Level One
    Level Two
    Level Three
    Extras

My normal daily jobs (not listed but I know what they are!)

    My extras for the week:
    * Take 3 bin bags of stuff to charity shop if weather OK
    * Work on DH's filing system some more - made a start but more to do

Friday all done Toots - star please!

I can never get DS's room very good. It used to be DH's office, and it's still got lots of his stuff in there which I can't move (he gets a nervous twitch if I go anywhere near it!) However, I am making effort to make room in the loft so DH can move the stuff up there. I find it so frustrating - DS deserves his own room, so let's hope DH gets his bum in gear now!

Oooops, sorry, didn't mean to rant :o
    Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting
  • Back from an extra day as a wage slave (catching up on snow delays) and have put all the Chritsmas boxes back in the loft on my own as fed up waiting for DH to be here. Required a bit of thought, balancing & wiggling, but they're all up and away until we next need them.

Waiting of DS coming home, then off for my HHC's in my Room of Doom aka my bedroom. Hoping DS will at least keep me company, or maybe even help? Decided that I will decorate it this summer, won't be too expensive to repaint & paper, and am aiming to sell enough treasures on Ebay to fund some new wardrobes from I**a. So best go get started..

    laters, Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    Hi

    My first ‘box ticking’ post..

Yesterday I watched ‘How clean is your house’ (*** our flat is sterile compared to the flats/ houses featured***). Then I ‘officially’ joined this thread.

… Today, I have a day off … and I got a bit carried away completing all the tasks for the whole week at all levels plus extras (missed a few chores on the list which did not apply as we live in a tiny flat and have only practical minimum of furniture.)

I know it is kind of against the ‘baby steps’ rules, but I thoroughly enjoyed doing chores going by a list – did not waste a minute on pondering what I shall clean, etc.

Thank you very much to all the people on the forum who take their time to organize these lists.

I feel almost drunk when I look around and see and smell our cleanest ever flat.

    Things left to do are:
    • filing
    • sorting ‘paperwork to do’ list
    • mend an item I meant to do for ages (found two J)

I just noticed that there are no weekend chores on the list! And penny dropped- cos weekends are left for fun when you are on top of house chores. J

The greatest challenge is next Monday – to stay on top of it.

All the best wishes to all.

    xxx
  • Pen Pen - I notice you said you need to order Be-ro book on your list - not sure if you have a morrisons near you but our local one usually sells them - not sure if yours does if you have one nearby?

  • tomato well done - I hope you wont suffer for getting carried away - if you tell me which lists you have finished then I can award you some stars (post 3) - scrap that - I have just re-read your post and see you have done all the lists to all levels _ WTG!!!!!

we do sometimes have a weekend list but it wont be posted until later this evening but 'yes' the idea is to have fun at the weekend - the weekend lists are very optional:rotfl:

Hey guys, I don't feel like I have stopped since I last posted on Tuesday. I came on last night to see what you have all been up to but was too tired to post.

Thanks for the good luck comments etc. I think the recital went ok. It didn't go as it did in rehearsals but I guess it never does. About ten minutes into it I started enjoying it a bit too which is good. One of the examiners came over after and said "very good, I will send you some comments by email", I am guessing he wouldn't have said very good if I had failed. What was even better than that was my accompanist said that my programme notes were the best he had ever heard and he does lots of accompanying including Young Musician of the Year. I was buzzing for ages after that comment, I didn't even think they were that great. I keep checking my email but nothing has come through yet, I will let you all know when I here something. Just need to get going with my dissertation now.

BenW like I said the weekend list is optional - I am afraid to say that some of us cant function without a list so pigpen is very kind and gives us one - it usually involves a quick S&S here and there and doing pets, preparing children for school etc so dont worry about it - and if you are already behind this week then forget it - do the essentials and start again on monday - all the rooms will be back round again - and dont worry I can give you a kick and encouragement as required - have a nice weekend away.
    toots xx
