As I have a heavy workload today following my trip to London, there might not be much cleaning going on. I will try to do what I can though as i dont want to lose the momentum.

Have already emptied the DW and put in last night's stuff - we had a power cut so couldnt run it last night and anyway, DH hadnt emptied it while I was away.

Right, off to ring the tax office and then get down to some paid work for a change.

Snow looks like it has started to thaw here and hope the bit of rain we have had doesn’t cause too many problems on the road

Have been neglecting the flying the last couple of days apart from the necessities and really need to get myself back in gear. Had a phone call from KH yesterday which ended up in a shouting match – nobody winds me up like he does

Will enter DS’s room this morning but purely to change his sheets. He did take the ‘cobby brush’ up earlier in the week so at least that has been done. Will check my lists now and see what I can face doing off there

Rach – Congratulations to OH on exam results and glad your ankle is better
Sunnygirl – Such sad news on the cat. They do become so much part of the family and she was lucky to be part of that for the small amount of time she had with you
Valli – Waiting with anticipation ;)
AnW – Hope you are feeling 100% soon and Happy Birthday Miss A
    Nopot2pin – :rotfl::rotfl: :rotfl:at your last nights post
Toochoosey – I would definitely say something at the school
    Holly – Happy Birthday :bdaycake:
Ragz – positive baby inducing vibes coming your way
Jinky – cant you employ some form of blackmail on DDD’s room
Ladlyl and Toots – Special hugs for the 2 of you
Diva – You are missed in your absence

    Hugs to everybody else needing

  • have spent last 3 days trying to find the source of a bad smell in the girls room - it was intermittant..but driving them bonkers! Had moved all the stuff stored (thrown?) behind the cabin bed, hoovered, aired etc with no luck.......

By chance I was picking stuff off the desk when I found the culprit - a pair of socks that DD2 had worn for school earlier in the week. They had got wet because of the snow abd she had left them in a ball...wet, cheesy socks slowly drying......they STANK!!!!!!!!!!

    Still problem solved!

OH has just gone to GP with 2 very sore/weepy eyes...so flying may be restricted!
