Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Hey all,
Mind if I join this thread? Been on WW for two and a half weeks and feel I need a bit of support not to reach for a KitKat Chunky. Lost 2.5 pounds so far but want to lose maybe 7 more by Christmas. I know that's not much but I seem to lose weight realllllyyyy slooooowwwwly.
Don't really like the sound of the new plan though!Total [STRIKE]5354.39[/STRIKE] 1/1/10
Now 0 :j0 -
Our leader wouldn't tell us much about the new plan this evening - I looked on the Australian site and they were talking about the Momentum plan so I'm presuming that's what the new plan is going to be called.
People were grumbling about the fact that they'd bought WW scales, pedometers, calculators etc. and they were all going to be useless after 7th November ........
I lost 1 pound this week - I'm trying to lose a stone by Christmas so only 13 pounds to go :T0 -
Had my second weigh-in today and lost another 3.5 pounds - so that's 8 in 2 weeks. Well chuffed! Great start toward my my stone and a half by Christmas target.Trying to take control of my home and belongings!0

hi there -
sorry if this post is really cheeky but I wonder if anyone could explain the ww maintenence to me? I did not go to meetings or join online - just ordered the books and managed to lose all the weight with the books. I have got back into my jeans but am still doing the 18 points a day but dont want to loose any more weight - but dont want to just go back to how I was eating before! is there an amount of points I could eat per day or week to maintain the weight.
many thanks in advance0 -
