  • hi all, this might sound like a bit of a daft question, but I'm going to my first weight watchers class tomorrow (having done it myself and lost 4 and a half stone successfully, but since easter its started creeping up again because i have no discipline). the only meeting i can get to is the 6.30pm one. This means getting weighed with my clothes on in the evening, whereas i weight without clothes first thing in the morning. This means that i'm going to start weightwatchers as heavier than i have seen on my scales, and i'm feeling pretty unsettled about that-has anyone else felt like that, and if so, how did they get over it? thanks

I was like that, my meeting is at 545pm

When I went to my first meeting I was heavier than my own scales read too plus it was evening which in a way spurred me on to lose more when I saw what my starting weight was!

I get weighed at 6 in the evening I didn't like the idea at first, especially as my OH who is doing ww online weighs first thing in the morning with no clothes! but one thing I have found is that it stops me jumping on the scales every five mins as I think to myself, it won't be the same as ww scales. This is a good thing for me because when I have tried to lose weight before I became obsessed with the scales.

I have to agree that i am obsessed with the scales too, i do WW online and weigh without clothes every morning and i weigh myself every morning and night to see the difference. If i dont weigh myself i keep thinking about it so just go do it anyway. I found i used to work harder at start when i weighed just once a week because i didin't know how much i had lost or put on. I think i shall need to start hiding my scales and just getting them out on a friday morning!

My scales didnt budge again this week - I think its the amount of alcohol I have been drinking with the footie going on!!!!

However, I now have a new incentive – I am off on a hen weekend in October and a few of us have decided to have a weekly weigh in and pay £2. the week before we go away whoever has lost the most weight gets the money in the pot!!!

    Hi guys

I tried the WW diet but always felt hungry which made me feel more stressed.

Any ideas what can be done to overcome the constant feeling of hunger without eating the wrong foods?

try drinking more liquid, choose the more filling nutritious foods for your points, instead of maybe convenience foods, not saying you do choose convenient foods, but lets say jacket potato more filling than the same amount for chips for points
