  • Morning all. Having to have a sick day because of my ears. :( BUT on the plus side, it's payday, and as of about 5 minutes ago my barclaycard is completely repaid :) Woohoo! One down, one to go.
I emailed a job as a debt caseworker at anothe bureau yesterday so waiting for a reply about the hours etc and a application pack. So watch this space...

  • ooh in other news this morning... requested a MAC code so I can move phone/broadband and just had an email to say I'll get it by email within 5 days. :T
Also had a reply about the job I emailed yesterday... it's a permanent contract (great!) and 36 hours a week.. (hmmmm childcare...)... but at just under 20k a year for the trainee wage I'm still tempted.. it's not too far away from me either. hmmm. have asked for a recruitment pack to be sent anyway so will have a think.

  • Morning all :D
Back to happy Sar bear as of yesterday afternoon :D My ever wonderful patient boyfriend took some short notice time off work so I could get the next available appointment to get my hears sorted out. Feels soooo much better and I can actually hear! Everything seems really loud though! But I'm not complaining..
Ironically I also went to a gig last night which was the beef's xmas present to me. Went to see Kittie at the sugarmill in Stoke and they were amazing. It was really quiet so we were right up the front! Really surprised how quiet it seeing as they're a popular well known band.. but I'm not complaining as we were literally right at the front and even talked to them before they went on stage! The drummer Mercedes even posed for a pic with us :D
    Woohoo!

I spent a whole £20 which included dinner, drinks and a tshirt... :D

Had a brilliant time but considering the beef had to babysit twice yesterday I'm taking him out for some dinner tonight as a thank you. Bless him. He's always more than happy to watch the girls for me which is so sweet and they love him to pieces. Think I've found a good un :D

Nothing to really report moneywise... next on the target is the Egg card, however, in true IA fashion it seems the car's going to have to go to the garage as there's a crunching sound coming from the steering, so sounds like a bearing's gone or something...
Anyone who's read my diaries in the past will no damn well that I suffer from serious sods law and anti karma as soon as I start repaying debt or saving... something ALWAYS comes up! lol

In other news I got my application back for that debt caseworker job.. need to talk to my currently work about it though as if I got an interview the date would be on the 12th Feb... that's if I got the interview of course. Going to send it off asap though.

  • Morning all! Really proud of KK this morning... for the past few days I've been potty training her and yesterday we've started going cold turkey, as we ran out of nappies. So last night was K's first night without nappies and she didn't have any accidents! Really impressed and surprised as was expecting a hellish night lol Hoping she won't take long to potty train so I can save money on all those nappies :D Oh and leave the house again.. as at the moment she's using a potty, which is going to be awkward if we're out! lol

Had a night in last night as my ex didn't have the kids as he normally does. So I used the time to practice bass and to complete my job application form.. Going to send it on tuesday, just want to talk to my boss first and ask one of the debt advisors if I can use him as a reference.
Hope everyone's well and having a good weekend!

  • Well done KK!! I'm trying again with Connor this weekend, we tried before Christmas and it was a disaster! But he's three in Feb so we need to get going again!
