  • Afternoon all :D Ok.. so maybe I slightly miscalculated the whole being able to pay off the card in full thing as I didn't take into account having to do a food shop etc.. :rotfl: Go gently on me it's been a while :rotfl:
However, I have today paid £250 off my barclaycard and am going to clear the remaining £278.75 on wednesday when I get paid.. so it's only a small delay :D

Woo! Feels good to be back in the game :D

  • Evenin'!. Don't know what's wrong with me today. Been so up and down and moody. Forgot it is my mum's birthday on wednesday so that put me on a bit of a downward spiral. On the plus side Ian and I took the girls shopping and then to Jungleland in Telford which was nice. Nice to get out of the house when I'm feeling sh*te to be fair, and we had a fab afternoon. Still feeling crappy but I'm sure it'll pass. I'm blaming hormones, it's a woman's god given right!
Still getting used to this moneysaving malarky again. It's weird, as since I started my job and had disposable income for the first time in god knows how long I started enjoying it. All fair and good, but trying to get myself to snap out of it will take some getting used to again. When I say I started enjoying it, it's literally only been since the beginning of december so nothing substantial at all. I just like the feeling of being able to AFFORD things and to be able to AFFORD to live and treat ourselves. It's a nice feeling but I need to concentrate on getting rid of the debt before my contract ends. If worst comes to worst and I end up back on benefits then it'll help to have cut those payments out each month. Looking forward to getting my barclaycard paid off on wednesday (payday) :).

God I really don't want to go back on benefits.... ever.... :\

Praying I can sort a job out before my contract ends. Otherwise I'll have no choice.

It shouldn't come to that but if it does it will be briefly - you have proper skills now and invaluable work experience so something else will turn up. Perhaps its the stressing about work/contract ending that's making you a bit moody?

I'm not really stressed about it as I know I've got plenty of time at the moment and financially I'm doing really well at the moment. I suppose it's the uncertainity of not knowin what's going to happen. There are jobs around at the moment, but will they still be around come march?

Why not start applying? By time you've done interviews etc and worked a notice period it's likely to be the ned of your contract pretty much anyway...
