Anyone else suffering from sellotape rage?

Why does it stick to everything around you before you can get it to the thing you want it to stick to?

Has anyone thought about selling any gold they have? I don't have much but might be worth everyone looking in their jewellery boxes, keep seeing those annoying ads on the telly so thought I might put the idea on here!

If you do decide to sell any, shop around. Some of those annoying ads give some of the worst rates for your gold available. :)

hi guys just a query, i sold a fragrance on ebay and the person said they recieved today and said: (hi, i recieved item today and you over charge me for postage.i will very happy to give you great feedback after you refund me £2 of postage)

I have never had this before and wondering what i do as i thought people add a bit extra for postage to make sure their item goes for a bit more. On my part i just thought it was cost around what i had put.

She knew the price of postage when she was bidding on it!

    Any help appreciated

Sorry, made me laugh ... shouldn't really but couldn't help myself ;). Have you got one of those sellotape dispensers with a cutting edge ... not a panacea but they can cut down a little on the angst. (Rushes off to stock up on sellotape dispensers to list on ebay ... ;))

  • Re overcharge postage I think I'm going to have this problem as they were cheaper than I thoughT to post . But it Is for postage AND packaging. Not sure what to say tbh . I would possible round it down to the pound or something but agree that they knew what they were paying
    see what someone else says
  • While I wouldn't advise marking up postage to cover costs, she hasn't got the right to demand postage back like that. Its bordering on feedback extortion. I'd post it on the Ebay board, they'll know what to do.

Stacy, remind her that the cost of postage and packing is not just the cost of the stamp which is what most people see. There's the cost of the envelope etc, petrol and parking charges at the post office and also your time. If she fails to acknowledge your point, if it was me I'd probably give her back the £2 and put it down to experience. The last thing you want is negative feedback on your profile!

I often only charge the actual postage fee and swallow the cost of the packaging. I get the feeling buyers don't see that as something they should pay for - drives me crazy, but I've accepted it!
