funnily enuf I sold a load of old tat yesterday... odd earrings, broken bracelet, 80's hoops, stuff I hadn't worn for ages, I think it weighed about 45g (might be wrong there)..got £300 for it! Made up with that as had just been sat in my bedside drawer for years!
Do be careful where you do sell tho...I went to a local working jeweller...I don't think I'd trust those places advertising all over the place at the mo...
I love the way the ads say "we will even take broken jewelry " like it makes any difference whether gold to be melted down is fully functional or not."I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand." — Confucius0 -

People interpret things totally differently in this world. Just put it down to experience and move on (hopefully with some positive feedback).

Please don't put that you are covering final value fees and paypal fees with your postage on your listings ... it will get you in serious trouble and may lose you the ability to have an ebay account. These fees are one of your costs of doing business and are to be absorbed by you before you consider if you have made a margin or not.
Oops I didn’t realise that! I usually charge £3.50 for P&P for all my clothing, it usually costs around £2 to post, 50p-£1 for the packaging and leaves me a bit extra to cover the extra fees.0 -

Can't leave buyers negative feedback anymore from what I can work out ... you can not give it though I suppose ... I got a bit of a shock on my first sale (after a long break from ebay) when I tried to leave feedback for a buyer and hit the enter key, realised I hadn't ticked the positve button (like used to be the case) and spent ages scrabbling around hoping I hadn't given neutral or even negative feedback ... seems I could only give positive now ... phew

I think £3.50 seems pretty reasonable for clothing to be honest, depending what it is ... I just wouldn't explicitly tell people any of this is to cover fees. Personally, I have never had a problem adding the P&P to the bid price to decide if I want to bid on something but some people have a real problem doing so and there were quite a few sellers with hugely inflated P&P and low listing prices designed to catch people out. Personally, 50p here and there doesn't bother me ... £5 gets my attention.

Yeah, the whole not being able to leave nags for buyers is annoying, as I have sent the item, they've received it then left a negative for no real reason. I suppose it is to stop tit for tat. But its not really fair. Anyway
And on a seperate note, I lost my DooYoo virginity yesterday, and I have had people rating my reviews. Am I right in assuming you receive miles for this? If so how many? And if people are in your circle of friends and they rate your review what do you get for that? And is it always a flat out 500 miles regardless of how many words you go over 150?Live for what tomorrow has to bring, not what yesterday has taken away0
