Hey Whatagain, do you have a recipe you could share for the ginger nuts? o and mini muffins etc!! I like your thinking would make my life easier too!

I meant to say if you dont mind sharing could u pm me.

You sound as though you are well on your way with your great plan!

No problem I'll get a PM over to you this afternoon. They are dead easy and I freeze the muffins and the ginger nuts keep for ages in an airtight tin.

Hiya guys, I've have a sale this morning on ebay for 8.99, but still waiting for another buyer to pay me £40 for a bag. I thought if someone bought a Buy It Now item they had to pay immediately, so I'm hoping this buyer hasn't changed their mind...

I haven't got much on today, going to list some stuff on ebay (I'm aiming to do 5-10 a day until I am clutter free) create my spreadsheet, then off to the shops for some sale snooping followed by a session in the gym.

immediate payment for BIN is only available to premier/business paypal accounts. You can tick that option when checking your payment details. After four days you can launch a NP complaint on ebay now...... Might be worth a quick email to the buyer first though to give them time to get sorted.....

Alot to catch up on in 24 hours...you guys work fast, or talk alot! :p

Going to have a look round some charity shops today, for what i don't know! Always seem to end up in them via work so might as well start taking advantage i suppose!

Might be worth checking out ebay pulse if your a bit stuck on what to buy/sell. Lists the most popular items/searches on ebay.

    http://pulse.ebay.co.uk/

    Enjoy :D

That's interesting Carcon. Didn't expect Next, River Island and Top Shop, to get three of the top 10 spots.

Or a dilapidated mini-cooper, being sold by Italian Job, to be the most watched, selling for 20K +

Yeah, also interesting that the top 4 shops are bookshops. I always thought ebay was hit and miss with books and really not worth it, guess im proved wrong!

sparrer: I think if you play a pay game before you try withdrawing it should secure your £5 bonus fund for the day, so maybe try 1 red or black spin on roulette then try withdrawing your cash balance hopefully then you'll still have a £5 bonus to play with tomorrow. I withdrew my winnings after playing a game that day and I didn't forfeit my bonus.

congratulations on your win btw!! :D

Thank you cakeordeath, tried this and won another £1 :rotfl:. Still unable to withdraw anything without losing the bonus £5 so guess I'll have to wait til I've been playing 29 days then go for the whole lot at once

Finally managed to get to the local shops today, feel like I've been in prison for the last month with the flipping snow.
I had a nosy around the charity shops and was amazed at how expensive they were. :eek:I did manage to pick up a couple of things by rummaging around in the bargain basket that I can sell on for profit.

I was in Wilkies and they have packaging stuff at 2 for £1.20, bubble wrap, brown paper, twine and tape if that helps anyone.

Thats not dilapidated! Assuming the listing is correct and it is a genuine works 970 I reckon its actually not a bad price at the moment - I reckon it might run to 30k yet....

I'm getting there slowly with my sales - sold a batch of DVDs on ebay, including two box sets which were snapped up very quickly by BIN (guess I should have put them on for a little bit more )

Just waiting on one payment now - its only £3 and the guy has emailed to say he is having paypal problems - so I'm going to give him till the end of the week to come up with something...

I always make sure I'm the lowest price in my category (ie used or new), if you go any higher people aren't going to buy from you no matter what the rating! I have over 200 positive amazon feedback but they'll still buy from a new seller if they're cheaper as Amazon's policies cover them if the item doesn't turn up.

Thanks Dinah93, really helpful post. With reference to being the lowest price in a category, are some people using automated software to hit this, as I have played around with a few prices and find I am undercut by a penny no matter where I go instantly. I tried one book (didn't care if it sold too cheap ;)) and dropped it right down to pennies (from £20) and was undercut immediately ... put it back up to £20 and was undercut at 19.99 within seconds. In the end I decided to price it where I am happy and see for now ... can't beat an automated system or all books would be 1p no matter what ;).
