Help!! Blummin ebay i only downloaded the seller manager y'day and on the dashboard i had high policy compliance, now suddenly it's very low!

Click on it to find i have listed something in the wrong place (genuine mistake thought it should go there) how can something go from high to very low?
They didn't even remove the listing or anything and does this affect my sales etc?

I can't see policy compliance? ... maybe they reset it when you start with selling manager? If it is to do with your listing can you pull it early and re list or edit category?

tick the little box to left of item then scroll back to top and you should see change status, change it to 'paid and dispatched'

I still can't find it! Where abouts is change status?

copperjar - go to SOLD ITEMS, find the item you have sold (the one where you want to change it to dispatched) > Follow the line across the page and click the DOWN ARROW that is next to the writing PRINT POSTAGE LABEL, this will bring up a box and you want to select MARK AS DISPATCHED

No ... that is what I tried quite a few times and ways (standing on one leg, hopping etc. ... nothing worked). I just get a message saying BB too big. Fate obviously doesn't want me to shout it from the rooftops, so I am happy for now with my demur statement of intent ;)

BB stands for Bulletin Board (the retro way of saying forum). Its probably a restriction the forum has to limit the size of signatures, just to avoid abuse. I had a look and there is a size rule so maybe see if by making your signature bigger you're going over the limit:

Maybe you've fallen prey to a bug if not. Maybe like this thread:

Probably won't make a difference but the buttons basically just add tags around your text. Could try typing the tags manually. e.g.

    Your text here

Removing the space after the 7 results in this:
    Your text here
Hope that helps and you can make a nice sig with it!

Zoegirl - Which magazines, if you dont mind me asking? I do a lot of writing I'm paid for, but I've never been paid for writing in a magazine, they usually just print it free? Don't worry if you don't want to share :)

I don't mind sharing, but I live in New Zealand, so be of little use to you. Although I do know of Aussie magazines that accept international submissions, some that pay well, for short stories. They are more the popular fiction kind though, thats what I am sending the latest lot off too.

Tend to have success more with the literary kind, but it pays less. What do you do?! Hehe.

If you write that kind of fiction and want the details PM me. Cheers.

oh and I got my 5 year old to do same, his bookcase was jam packed couldn't move a book, and guess how many he gave me to sell? 8!!! Seems he has inherited my book fetish!

You can always hide them away in a top cupboard for a while and if not missed then sell em on :p I do this with toys sometimes.

    Morning everyone

Tuesday is a great day for 5 day listings on eBay- as your listings will finish on Sunday...... Most ebayers confirm that they have better results ending their listing on a Sunday night.
Remember by using a package like auctiva although this carries a monthly subscription schedualed listings are one of the free tools you have with this,so you can do your adverts at any time and schedual them to sstart when you want.

Have a great day , thanks and well done again everyone
