  • Hi everyone, been trying to catch up on the thread this evening as I didn't have a chance to sneak on at work today due to being on a training course all day.

So the first of my ebay listings ended last night and 12 out of my 13 items sold! Hurray!! Haven't worked out fees and postage yet but should make me a profit of around £75. Also got another £4 through from a pinecone survey which has to go into the pot.

Am currently working through the matched betting guide, just want to do a couple of dry runs before I actually risk my money! Also still have a load more to list on ebay..i'm pacing myself :rotfl:

Will update my signature once I have calculated out the fees and postage.

    Everyone's doing great :T

Aren't there messaging apps now that let you communicate across the divide as it were :). Or does a Mac explode when the detritus of Windows world pops up on the screen :rotfl:.

I am also up for this challenge, I was sort of doing something similar myself but this thread is giving me lots of inspiration.

Oh and if you enjoyed reading 'The Secret' by Rhonda Byrne then you really must read these 2 books 'The Key for Living the Law of Attraction' by Jack Canfield who is actually one of Rhondas mentors and also 'The One Minute Millionaire' by Mark Victor Hansen and Robert Allen
I am writing a blog about my attempt to make money from nothing if anyone fancies taking a peak just pm me :)

isn't it the other way around? doesn't a windows app get so intimidated by the super sleek awesomness that is a mac and just decides to "Error" ;)

in the words of the Mighty Po..

There is no charge for awesomeness! isn't that a great cartoon!

Oh and btw the last time I tried MSN for Mac was about 4 years ago so it is very likely that its been improved by now (one can only hope?) but having not used it for so many years I dont miss it that much :)

P.S. yes yes I know my post is almost nonsensical - its how my brain works...:rotfl:

Are they all finish at the same time? Hopefully not all the same thing ;). I am trying to spread things out a bit at the moment while I try to get a handle on how ebay works these days (it's been so long I have forgotten almost everything ;)). Is that 7 items £15 each, or total ... makes a difference :)? If you did it all with turbolister you can probably re list really easy (maybe in chunks) and try again. As Bing0 said earlier some times you re list a couple of times and on the third time it gets bid up with no rhyme or reason. Hope the next hour kicks some backside ;).

Oh, how is the business plan coming along?

Hiya, 7 different items with a total of £15 and all 79 finish at roughly the same time cos I used Turbolister to list them.

Good news - just accepted £40 from local car boot group for a printer (saves on ebay and paypal fees but the other half paid for it so its going back on his credit card)

Other good news - I got the other half 3 sets of star wars lego and 1 set of the latest daily mirror lego and he's told me that i might as well ebay the lot so I'm going to do one huge auction and list all them together etc, should net £40 or more cos will be 30 lego items plus what I've got in my cupboard plus the spare bits, should be fun watching that one !

Business plan - on the back burner for now, I might do it, I might not, havent decided yet
