KOSMA1 - i have discount for being a member of CSMA

I am also a member but its one of those things i joined and have done nothing with, think i'll cancel tomorrow and HASSRA- dont know even how much it is!

there is no referral for Quidco, but over the last year or so i've got just over the £200 back so its worth joining.

i only recently joined, as it saved me just over £50 on a holiday i went to, now the insurance has saved me £100, i should really look at what quote they give me without csma and look at the cash back through if offered, see if it is a better deal, got all month to play around with numbers.

hassra i think is something like 1.25, but then i get 2 lotto plays every month as well which is £2, not won anything yet though, but have joined 200 club as well being a member, won i think £100 last year through it, and apart from half price cinema tickets don;t use it for anything else, but so far it has done me ok.
Thanks to all who post comps :T

Still loads of things left - only one thing has actually sold (and I made £5 profit on it - damn you Amazon fees - should have been a lot more!). I'm just worried that the other items won't sell. That's if they ever turn up! Just got a message from someone I bought from on ebay on 8th Jan saying he'll post it "in the next couple of days". Is it only me that panics if I don't get the item out within a day?!

That is the entire point of the challenge ;). If you have stock then things should be good ... if you make a small loss when all the stock is gone then you learn why and how to improve what you are doing, but hopefully you will be ahead. If along the line I have built up £1,000 in this challenge and an opportunity comes up which I invest all the money in, at that point I will be back to zero ... but I will have an investment that will hopefully make me a return (naturally if it all goes wrong I'm wiped out too :rotfl:). Chin up ... it is exciting when things go right and scary when they go wrong, but if we face our defeats head on we will all get so much out of this challenge :).

Edit: Try not to panic yet re postage ... there has been somewhat of a nightmare with the weather lately ;)

How can they track that ... do you have to clear cookies, go through Quidco, log back into ebay every time you place a bid?

well, busy chore tonight, have just managed to sort out loads of cd's, checking music magpie for prices, figured they would be 30p to 50p, 2nd one i checked £1.27, lol. will check pricing on ebay later as well see if it goes for more, but tbh, by the time you add postage and ebay fees, they are mostly better off just going to music magpie, not may exceed the 99p on ebay

Thought I would update, not doing too great so far but it all adds up.

Still don't know whether to invest in some discounted books from Barefoot and chance reselling them on ebay/ amazon.

I have made a little from surveys, etc. I have yet to show any profit from green metropolis or ebay listing but I remaqin hopeful!

79 items finish on ebay in 1 hour and 7 mins, so far ... 7 items will sell for £15 with 8 watchers in total, not looking good
  • Think I've learnt a bit of a lesson tonight. I need to remember its a year long challenge, the items I sold today were brand new ( although I got them for free) and they sold for half there value.

Maybe if I had put them on slightly cheaper on a buy it now and just kept relisting I would of eventually made a bit more cash.

However on the bright side is was all pure profit so shouldn't complain!!!!!
