I'm listing a few books on Amazon. Some of them are now out of print and I got a couple that I got from cheapy shops like The Works are now apparently worth more than I paid for them. Whether they sell remains to be seen, of course, but worth a punt!

Oh dear. I've just worked out how much I've spent and how much I've sold. I'm in the red. If I hadn't bought anything, I'd be £50+ up :(

Have you sold everything you bought or do you still have stock to work through?

don't worry, i am in the red also, but if i start selling the things i have bought, and also have now rooted out cd's to sell on music magpie (or ebay if i think i can make my money), eventually i will make profit, after all, while doing this challenge, isn't it all about reinvesting and makign as much as you can? think of the bigger picture :)

Still loads of things left - only one thing has actually sold (and I made £5 profit on it - damn you Amazon fees - should have been a lot more!). I'm just worried that the other items won't sell. That's if they ever turn up! Just got a message from someone I bought from on ebay on 8th Jan saying he'll post it "in the next couple of days". Is it only me that panics if I don't get the item out within a day?!

Hello everyone, how are you all getting on? Feeling optimistic hopefully!

I knew that I would struggle to keep up with the site once I went back to work and studying now that the snow has cleared a bit, but I didnt think i'd come back to 5+ more pages with 40 posts on each!! I've tried reading them all but know I'm not going to get through them all.

I sold a book on greenmetropolis this eve! A chocolate recipe book, for £3.50, I just have to pay for postage...so maybe a couple of quid profit :D it's a start though.

I've added the greenmetropolis message to my fb status! And joined their group - they only have 116 (117 now) members, so obviously still in their early days. I've also recommened it to about 2,000 people locally (through group emails), brilliant.

INDIEROCKER - I highly recommend goofbay - I looked for members who have sold many items (at least 4,000) and looked at what they sell, using one of the tools on goofbay - might give you some ideas? It takes a lot of trial and error when finding what it is that sells well for you and you'll more than likely lose money in the process but then hopefully find a good place within it all and make 10k! Most people on here are in the same boat, I suppose you just have to enjoy it for what it is.

Its really good that this forum is so popular, but its a shame I cant read everything that is posted :( cos feel like i'm missing out on everyone elses journeys, but can only do what we can do.
