  • well the advantages of working near a post office is great, just posted 8 items today whilst at work, there was a guy a few infront of me with loads aswell, i was wondering if he was from here lol, he had a massive parcel that was too big to weigh.

managed to pick up 2 leaflets with postage prices/size/weight on so thats really handy

got home and mym mums had a clearout and gave me some clothes to sell, she was just going to chuck them  some brand new with labels

not impressed because my computer monitor keeps loosing signal so need to figure out whats wrong before i can carry on with the turbo lister i had started (im on the laptop atm)

ive got my spare car still to sell but need to wait for snow to clear so i can take new photos of it .

Did I read somewhere in this thread that Haynes manuals sell well on ebay? I saw several today in my local charity shop for £1.50 each, do you think it is worth ago for all of them or is it only ones for certain vehicles that sell well?

can you remember which ones they were, have a look on ebay/amazon etc..

Definately only certain ones sell well, i listed about 100 for my dad and loads went for only 99p and some went for upwards of £30. Obviously if you need to make a profit on it you wouldn't have a 99p start but my dad didn't want to pay extra fees. He's still got some that haven't sold. Basically it's a bit hit and miss. Sorry that's not exactly helpful
  • Another tip guys, if you are employed or self employed full time you may be entitled to working tax credits. If you apply and you are eligible you will be given back dated payments to April 2009.

Yeah it was me sold Dennis & Gnasher for £3.50 and bash street kids for £3.50 ended up making about 50p after paying fees and p&p so not really worth it
