Hi all.
Can I join this group please0 -
Thanks for you quick replies everyone, Greyhoundangel your post was very useful, do you reckon it's better to buy larger amounts or is it all relative?
.
Hi Nat,
Importing is full of quirks, without knowing a little more about your products etc - I could waffle on and still not really answer your question.... or worse than that - say something that's not entirely correct ..
I understand that you may prefer to keep your actual product ideas "quiet" while you're looking into things - If you'd like to pm me with a bit more information on the actual products - but reply on here regarding: quantities of product, how often you intend to buy, rough purchase price etc then I will reply on here so others can also see the gist.
Sometimes it may be more cost effective to import less frequently, but bigger quantities (also helps with min orders for suppliers too), but difficult to best advise without the info mentioned.
I know that all made sense to me when I wrote it

Came across some items in a shop today, reduced to clear at £2, boxes and boxes of them in the shop. Came home and had a look on ebay, same items are selling in the region of £10 upwards
Think i'll be going back for a few tomorrow and see how they go!Only a couple of sellers have them on ebay so maybe if i undercut them slightly i should do not too bad, worth a try at the price anyway!

I've spent my first £25 of my challenge money today, I got 2 jackets (£12.50 each) in a size 8 and 16, seen the same one in a size 8 selling for £32 with 3 days to go, and a size 10 sold last night for £40. I originally bought 1 for myself and then looked on ebay to see how much it sold for, then went back in today to picked up a couple more to sell on. If it sells for a similar price, I dont know if I should keep mine or sell it on aswell...hmmm....
5 of my ebay items sold today, I'm glad as it was just some clothes I had been given on a job, so thats £32.98 plus I'm still waiting for a payment of £40...I won't update my sig until I've been paid.0 -
Went looking in the charity shops today....spent £2.50 on a CD and books for the kids.nothing to sell on :rotfl:
Made my first purchase from an Amazon trader, fingers crossed it is okay cause I have never done that before. Hoping to add value and resell on Ebay.
Loving this thread, everyone is doing great :T
