Not sure if others agree, but mid-Jan might not be a good time to put things on Ebay. People are basically skinned (like me) and do not want to spend, or if they do, want it as cheap as possible.
In my opinion, end of the month should be better to shed stuff.

hi, so far so good.. i am just reporting back today...
Sadly my Nintendo Wii bought 4 months ago will be put on Ebay today... i am just kidding myself as i am not using it. It would do a better job paying off one of my credit cards... then i will only have one to worry about.
I really want to finish with both of them so everything i make is in my pocket rather than in CC :D

i am still watching this thread every day and have bought a couple of things by searching the wholesale lots on ebay. got a pile of childrens fancy dress costumes coming. i was the only bidder and got them for 99p - woo!! plus £5.98 postage though.

will relist them individually and try for a profit. also found an item via goofbay for £8 and it's listed(and hopefully selling) for £25 on amazon.

thanks everyone and keep up the good vibes!!

Have been listing books on Amazon coz I was just sitting around feeling glum that nothing's selling on Ebay! So...for a change I thought I'd stop procrastinating and do something :-)
I've also just written out my notice ready to hand in at work...arrgghhhhh scary (going to be self employed full time with my wedding jewellery and the stuff I'm doing for this challenge) I sense some skint times ahead :-)

I know EXACTLY how you feel!! I made some life changing decisions yesterday and well I think it was the precise kick up the backside I needed. Nothing like self motivation when you know the only one to make you succeed is yourself....so to speak that is.

Congrats and well done and yes it is scary but rather thrilling at the same time.
