I found this under opportunities on the full circle arts website. There are all sorts of jobs and opporunities listed there
This one is based in Manchester. The other thing they do is based around films so maybe some of your stuff like Brief encounters and film actresses would go down well.
Contact details are on full circle arts webpage.
Good spot. If you are looking for opportunities in the "City" don't forget Liverpool and Leeds too ... I know Liverpool has a thriving art scene and am sure Leeds must have too. Between the 3 Cities of Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds you have a demographic catchment similar to London and all almost on your doorstep
. The added bonus is that you could hopefully show at locations in each City without putting Gallery owners' noses out, which could be an issue somewhere like London. Don't forget London though ... it isn't that hard to get to as it is a pretty small country we live in

Hello,
I have decided to get in on this challenge, although I have no £100 to start with so starting at £0. Put some of my old university books online at the weekend and two have already sold just today! So that would put me at £54.14
Still reading through the thread I hope to pick up some interesting ideas along the way.

Heelo everyone here is my update.
sold £600 worth of stuff since 1st Jan yey :j
Paid self assessment tax £400  so £200 in proft so far.
I have just decided what to do with my car, its 16 years old and has had over £1,200 worth of work done on it in the last year. Now the springs or shocks have gone on one side and when I turn the wheel on full lock it groans!! So I have had to make the very painful decision to let it go to the car lot in the sky............... We live in out in the sticks so to go down to one car is quite a major thing.
But DH then bet me £50 that I would not be able to save £2,750 by June for another car... bad move... never bet me anything as that just makes me more determined. (He doesn't know about this challenge as not very supportive) I guess it will be £2,800 by June then :rotfl:8 years of being on a DMP finished 3/3/140 -
Hi everyone

My dad was up today and he asked me, what will you do as you go on, will you be buying and selling bigger items for more profit? I said I don't know, the thought of risking large amounts scares me! but it made me think, do i need a plan? Does anyone else have any thoughts?I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0 -
i have no plan paulabear, except ro reinvest when i have made some, trying different things, see what works best, and if somthing comes along that seems viable, hopefully, money i have made so far will be able to reinvest, i would imagine as time goes on i will possibly invest more, so have larger stock in, not necessarily more expensive items, but all depends what opportunities i can find for myself
Thanks to all who post comps :T0 -
I don't have a plan Paulabear, perhaps I should have, I dunno. I am going to try and grasp every opportunity I see and see how it goes. Any extra is great for me.0

I think it's worth making a plan, particularly for those who are relying on selling things from home as this resource might not be available for long - and there are already some unhappy children whose toys have been sold!
Just £10,852.28p to go...
Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
And then do it.0
