My fella has a great discount card which we use a lot called CityCard.
You can use it for all sorts as well as eating out, as it gives you 2 4 1 cinema tickets at AMC Manchester, half price at the comedy store, loads of great bar and restaurant offers.
It also saves me loads at the hair salon, as you can use it a lots of top salons and day spas, health clubs etc + shops and all sorts of other things in the city.
It cost about £30 and we use it every weekend + sometimes midweek, well worth it and great to have in your purse /wallet.
The website is www.citycardmanchester.com

found a fantastic one this lunch time in China town (Manchester).
East on faulkner st do a 2 course lunch for £3.50 or 3 couses for £4.50, and really good food too!
Don't know how they get away with doing it for these prices but hey, get in there whilst you can:j

Not a discount but most of the top London hotels do a good set lunch at very reasonable prices (by comparison).
You can eat some of the best cooking in London for around or even under £20 per head plus booze.
A comparable dinner menu is £60-70 so it is good value, if not actually cheap.0 -
