I too will be a Sept 2011 bride, same day as BuddieBabe (18/09/2011) yey!
Seem to be doing a massive amount of organising but unfortunately don't have the deposits yet! argh! My lovely Fiance proposed on Christmas Day and I can't wait!

Hey Alyssa so glad someone else is getting married on the same day as me was beginning to feel left out :rotfl:

I haven't really done anything else still haven't booked the registrar but will before the end of the month.... I promise!

I was thinking about favours, table decorations lots of other things and tried to make a few and i showed them to a few people at work who thought they were nice, however, my bridesmaid doesn't like them.... she won't say she doesn't but i can just tell by the way she keeps going on... it's put me off actually looking at anything or trying to do anything else.

I have been selling stuff on ebay and trying to put away 30% of what i sell into my own wedding savings and use the rest to pay towards my debt.

Hows everyone else's planning coming along?

Hi girls,

I'm getting married on the 3rd Sept too!! Have done nothing except admire my ring. I really need to get my but into gear. Made an attempt at a wedding fayre at the weekend but just ended up eating cake and drinking champers. not the best start, it did get some ideas flowing though. My excitement is slowly caving to apprehension, glad youo will all be going through the same thing.

Goodness, how funny to find this thread! I'm getting married 3rd September 2011 too! I've booked a venue but not a register office yet - suppose I should get on that pretty quickly...

I think my next jobs will be to get cars and a band booked, we are moving house this week though so will get onto that after everything has calmed down again

Helloooo!!

We have our wedding booked for Friday 2nd Sept 2011. This is a significant date in memory of my beloved nanna, didn't want to wait another year for the Saturday, so Friday it is! This also means that there is no major football competition which may have a must see match... or so my OH tells me!!!

We have so far booked our venue- Old Blacksmiths Shop at Gretna, reception- Smiths Hotel at Gretna & went up and met a few photographers last week & now have this booked too, have pretty much everything else sorted in my head, little planning book & wedding path! Just to start arranging it all now it's not so far ahead!

Our colour is bright red, OH is a huge Liverpool FC fan!

My dress is the next thing on my list, have a few in mind & can't wait to go & try some on!

Now that I've found this thread, will pop by frequently!!:)

I had totally forgot about the football season... OH is a HUGE arsenal fan! There better not be any important matches that day lol

Hehe! Well there's two of us now buddiebabe : ) Have everything kinda provisionally planned most things but until the funds are there we can't book anything : ( Getting there though!
